The train rumbles along as we pass by the greenery and cottage houses outside. This has definitely got to be the most exhilarating thing I've ever done. I'll give anything to have this experience again, if I have he chance to. I slept o the top bunk of our little room and read a few books. Lights were covering the room and sure enough, there was a reading lamp above the bed. I also had the joy of climbing up the beds to get to the top. And I have to say, was quite fun. Eli still refuses to tell me what we're gong to do in Vienna and I haven't been to Austria before so I'm hoping it's amazing.
"Hey, Miss dreamy. Snap out of it, we have to plan for what we're going to do when we get there." Eli says. And am I glad to hear that.
"Okay, firstly, where are we going to stay?" I do sincerely hope it's not some fancy place.
"Not telling. Now, do you want to go get sausages first or see sites?"
"Don't tell me where we're staying and I'll chop off your sausage and sell it on eBay." He holds his hands up and chuckles.
"Fine, psycho. We're staying at my friend's place." He replies. Hmm... I'm betting he has friends all over the place.
"Okay, cool. Can we go for this music night thing? And maybe go to Schönbrunn?" I ask curiously. Eli raises his eyebrows and nods his head.
"Someone's been doing their research... Of course we can. I find the whole Mozart music thing very touristy though."
"Isn't that what we're here for? To be tourists?" I grin.
"If you want to, then okay. But trust me, the palaces and things are better." He persuades, wiggling his eyebrows. I roll my eyes at him though, unable to find words to answer him with.
"Get some rest before we reach. It'll be about 30 minutes more." He says, shooing me to the bunk beds. Jeez b*tch. Fine. I make a bored face and stick out my tongue at him, but nonetheless, go to the beds.
"Annoying child." He complains. And for once, I choose to keep my mouth shut.
"I want ice cream." I say petulantly. I've repeated this to Eli about 10 times, and honestly, I think he's so done with me. His face is just a constant bored out look. We dropped off our bags at his friend's place, which by the way, looks amazing. The doors to the apartment were so big. There's like this big security door first and unless you have the key, you can't open it. His friend's place is then on the right, after climbing up a flight of stairs.
If it was just me on this trip, I would chill out in the room, but Eli wanted to bring me to St Stephens Cathedral, to see its catacombs. I had other ideas though... Food comes first! And I want something refreshing...
"Even in Vienna, you crave ice cream. I should give you a whole tub to eat. You'll surely get bored of it then." Eli grumbles. I laugh.
"Try that, and I'll only ask for more." I reply with a wide spread grin. He merely shakes his head at me and leads me through the big road near the cathedral to a desert place.
"Here. Buy your stuff." He leaves me to queue for it and I come out of the shop with a full sundae. Cherries, strawberries, whipped cream and all. And Eli looks at me as though I've gone mad, shaking his head in the process. Speaking of which.... I think I need to give my grandma a call on how I'm here with Eli in a totally different country! We walk to a seat near the shop and I take out my phone.
"Hi grandma! Eli kidnapped me and now I'm in Vienna with him. It's just a 2 day trip so I'll be back soon." I wince, waiting for her disapproving words but am surprised to hear her carefree laugh.
"Oh honey, that rascal already told me of his plans! I thought it'll be a good experience for you. I've been to Vienna myself too, it's gorgeous. Don't worry, you're safe with him." Oh wow. Okay. Well, now I know who NOT to call when I'm actually kidnapped for real... I shake my head and Eli raises a perfect eyebrow at me. I tell grandma bye before hanging up.
"Ugh Hera. Hurry the fúck up and eat your food. At least try to complete on thing in your bucket list today. Visit the catacombs. The biggest grave." I ignore his words but nonetheless, swallow the last bit of ice cream.
"I'm ready!" I say, pumping my fist in the air. Eli grins, chuckling.
"You are so weird."
"Of course I am." I flash him a smile and flip my hair.
"Bîtch please, i don't need a lecture on how you're so egotistical, even for the worst things..." He holds up a hand to me and starts to walk off to the cathedral. Jeeeezz. Says him. But i guess, unless I want to get lost, I'd better stick with him.

Yea. This is creepy. Way creepy. I'm literally surrounded by brown, stone and black. The entrance to this was made of a marble of sorts and looked really polished, but traveling deeper into the corridors, graves over graves over graves. I can see why people like it though, it's really fascinating (as creepy as it is).
The things that people of the past could do... Hidden tunnels, underground stuff. It's a good thing that I've got a guide to follow around the place, because, if not for him, I would've probably been lost and traumatized by now. I mean, skulls everywhere and the darkness? Yea, I'd go insane. I can't even go into a fully dark room without one light as it is, so being alone in here would just be freaky.
This was a fun experience though, being able to see the tombs of famous people and remains of famous people. Like Napoleon's son's remains (if I didn't remember wrongly) and the Austrian royal family's remains.
"Hey, you're drifting off again. Come on, we're going to the next room." Eli calls out to me. Oh. I must've been spacing out again. He holds his hand out, one which I gladly take and leads me to where the whole tour has went to.
Gosh. I'm so tired... The journey and everything just tired me out I think. We've got two more days here anyways, I'm sure we'll be able to explore all the sites. To my surprise, the route we take next is the way out of the catacombs. Now that, was one informative journey. Quite hard to find ones like this nowadays... My mind wanders off even more until Eli smacks me on my forehead.
"Hera! Jeez woman. Spas out once more and I think I'll expire trying to get your attention." He says exasperatedly. I give him my sweetest smile as we make our way out of the gorgeous cathedral and out of the myriad of colors the tainted glass windows displayed.
"So, who's house are we staying at again?"
"My friend, Andrew's. He should be home right about now." Hmm... Andrew... Sounds familiar. Then again, it's a pretty common name. "Oh, and he has a sister so don't worry about being the only girl." I nod as we make our way up the stairs. Eli knocks some special code knock on the door and it opens almost immediately.
And what I'm faced with surprises the fúck out of me.
"Drew?!" His eyes widen and look as they're about to pop out, while Eli just looks confuzzled (confused + puzzled put together. Get it??? Lol... I'm so weird).
"Wait. You guys know each other?" "Hera? Is that you?" The two boys say at the same time. Oh holy crap. Shîts about to go down.
