[UNEDITED]

Hmm... It feels warm. Too warm. I kick my legs to flip off the sheets but it doesn't float off the bed. I groan and twist myself around. Only to find myself face to face with Eli's smushed up face on the pillow next to me.

"Oh my god!" I jump, out of his firm grip. His eyes slowly flutter open and he too, groans, rubbing his eyes. But that changes when he sees me. Eli grins, smirks, then stretches his arm out to grab hold a tuff of my hair; patting my head.

"You idiot! Stop touching my hair!" He laughs.

"Don't remember what happened last night?" I shake my head.

"Long story short, you, my dear princess, are very light weight and was knocked out after a short while, and Drew put you to bed." Eli ruffles his hair, then stares into my eyes.

Creep. *SLAP*

"Hey!"

"'Hey!' what? Why are you in the same bed as me, then, perv?"

"Jeez woman... You practically harassed me and I just had to stay with you to pacify you. Happy?" My jaw drops.

"I didn't try to kiss you did I?" Eli burst out in laughter.

"Only about like 10 times." My face pales and I shake my head.

Why......
I think he takes pity on my loss for words and starts to get up from the mattress.

"Get dressed. I'm going for a shower," he smirks. "Catch you later princess." He can't be- *slam* - That idiot!

Cold cold shower... That's what I need. Note to self Hera: Do not get drunk around Eli or Drew again. Speaking of which, where was Drew in all this last night? If it was him who let Eli into my room, I'd definitely be sending a message off to his mom...

Then again, mom and dad can't know that I'm off on some road trip sort of thing with a guy I practically just met. Mom is what you would call the conservative type, so if she ever caught me loitering around with some possible delinquent like Eli, she would personally interrogate me and I'd most likely be grounded for life. Which is way worse than the situation I'm in right now... All things aside though, this has got to be the most exhilarating and adventurous thing I've ever done! Going off with a guy like Eli...

A girl can only dream for a road trip romance. Okay Hera, chill. No romancing going on here. He doesn't even know you're a half wolf yet... I have to get him off of my head. And fast. The breakup with Joshua still hurts, and I really can't afford for something like that to happen again, so quickly too.

"What the heck Hera? You take 40 minutes to shower?"

"Oh shut it, we all know you take longer," Eli defends.

Drew's face instantly turns bright red and shrugs. I laugh.

"Hey princess, where to today?" I frown. "Yea yea. You hate me right? Too bad, I don't care," Eli whispers in my ear, grinning like a playful school boy.

How is he making me feel feelings I've never felt before? Not even with Joshua.

"Erm... M-maybe you ch-choose instead?" Great Hera, stutter like a crazy person... Eli raises one perfect eyebrow at me and takes ahold of my hand.

Why is it that one touch from him can send electric sparks through my body? That after a touch, all I see is his shimmering blue eyes?

"Are you okay?" Drew and Eli both rush out. "You're flushed," Eli adds, smirking. And that snaps me out of it.

"Yea. I'm fine," I reply, and I'm not sure who I'm trying to convince here. Them or myself.

"I choose huh? A walk at a park, and a picnic?" Eli suggests, his tone making it seem more like a question than a statement. You mean like a date?

He chuckles lowly.
"I suppose you could say like a date," he mumbles. I can't believe I said that out loud! Great. A date. Drew stares at us blankly before sighing.

"I'll let you guys have your fun... See you later for lunch?" We both nod. Well, I guess that's settled then... Except for the part where Eli's asked me out... Why am I even agreeing to this?

An hour later, we're sitting at Stadt park devouring our hotdogs. The grass is a vibrant green and yet, it's so calm and serene. Even though this park is famous for its gorgeous looking statues of legendary musicians such as Beethoven and John Strauss, all my eyes are fixated on right now, is Eli's lightly tanned skin and his just-right tousled hair.

"Would you just like to take a picture for the memory, and not spend half our time here gawking at me?" Eli says smugly. I gasp. Caught red handed...

"I wasn't...gawking..."

"Oh yes you were!" He argues like a child, grinning from ear to ear. Then he frowns. But before I can ask what's wrong, he gets up and fishes his wallet out of his pocket.

"Wait here. I'll get some Popsicles. Then we can play 20 questions."
