Eutony
(.n) The pleasantness of a word's sound.
After Nisha finished her satisfying dance rehearsal we went back to my home, not many words were said we just walked in peace.
"That was amazing Nisha, you guys are for sure gonna win the nationals." I nodded in agreement with Elliot and she blushed.
"Thank you guys for taking me into your friend circle even though it only consisted of two people before I came in." She smiled and I chuckled.
To be honest, at first it was weird having someone else in our two-people friend group but now that we've been together for three years, it doesn't feel that weird anymore.
"No, thank you for wanting to even come into 'friend group' you never fail to make us smile even when it's not your intention." Elliot said and she literally took the words out of my mouth.
Once we arrived at my home the snow storm got even worse and it got way colder. None of us are made for this kind of weather honestly.
"Hello ladies,". My mom said sitting the living room watching Grey's Anatomy with a cup of coffee.
"Ms C!" Nisha exclaimed and ran over to give my mother a hug. "We missed you Ms C." Nisha apparently speaks for all of us then. But she's right we all missed her.
"Hey Nish, how are you?" My mom asked placing her cup on the small table next to the couch where magazines were laid out.
"I'm okay, nationals around the corner so I'm pretty damn nervous." Nisha said and decided to have a whole conversation with my mother. So Elliot and I decided to take our own conversation to the kitchen.
"Explain." Was all Ell said. I know exactly what she's talking about, and I think I should tell her. She'd tell me too if it was her in this position.
I nodded and motioned for her to come upstairs so mom or Nisha couldn't overhear us.
"Remember when some hot guy broke into my house?" I asked and Elliot nodded laying on my bed.
"Remember the guy I "met" at the game arcade?" I said and Elliot's head shot up. "Shut the fucking front door." She exclaimed. "Explain now." She demanded and I held my hands up in surrender.
"Okay okay, calm your tits." I said as I sat next to Elliot on my king sized bed.
"Okay you already heard the story about the intruder. I went to seven-eleven last night for some midnight snacks and slurpees on my moms old bike. It broke and I had to walk back, at a moment I thought I was being followed and I still don't know if I was actually being followed..." I said thinking back and Elliot glared at me. "Continue."
"I got pulled into an alleyway and the person made me drop my slurpee, still pissed. And it was the guy who broke into my house, whose chest I had to stitch up. That's Cole." I said and Elliot's mouth was wide open. She kept quiet so I continued.
"He followed me home and accidentally met my mom. She wanted him to stay in the guest room because it was way too late for him to be walking outside. He came into my room only wearing his boxers. We both were in out underwear, well I still had my cropped hoodie on. He kissed me and it was intense. End story." I said and Elliot slapped me on the back of my head.
"Are you fucking insane?!" She hissed and I rubbed my eyes. "Was that the guy who smirked at you when we were walking to Dance 101?!" She asked and I nodded shamefully.
"Zara, you have completely lost it." She said and I rolled my eyes. Okay he's dangerous, but she's acting unnecessarily dramatic right now.
"Yeah yeah. I told you, happy?" I said standing up from my bed.
"Happy?! How can you act so fucking calm about this?!" Elliot asked and I just laughed.
That's actually a very good question, that I sadly can't answer because even I don't know the answer to that.
"I need to process this all man." Elliot said and I chuckled. Melodramatic. Just imagine how Nisha will react.
After a minute or two we went back downstairs to join the others who were still talking.
Mom was as always okay with the girls staying over so we made my room ready. We three all fit in my king sized bed but one always fall out in the middle of the night so we always get the couch in my room sleep ready too.
The girls both wore their pajamas they leave here for unexpected sleepovers. We stayed upstairs letting my mom have her well needed peace.
We were all just beyond tired so we decided to just watch some old skool movies, well we only managed to watch Poetic Justice. I got both the girls into "black" old skool movies, now they're obsessed. I make them obsessed with everything, slurpees, old skool movies and even old skool music.
"This movie never get old." Elliot said yawning loudly and I agreed. Nisha has already fallen asleep, of course.
"Do-Do you like Cole?" Elliot asked quietly and I smiled. "No I don't but he's hotter than hell." I said and we both laughed a lot.
"Just watch out okay, I still think he's a no good bloody twat." She said impersonating the douchebag's accent.
"It'll never be a thing don't worry Elliot." She said and pecked me on my cheek.
"What about Marc?" I asked and she chuckled. "He may not be hotter than hell but he sure as hell deserves to rot in hell." She says and I tried not to laugh too loud waking up our sleeping beauty.
"Fuck him, you can do much better. I mean, douchebag was actually kinda hot eh? And that accent is a turn on in my opinion." I said genuinely and Elliot slapped my arm "Ew get that fuckin thought out of your head before I'll slap it outta ya." She said and turned around in bed.
"Goodnight Z."
"Goodnight El"The minute I closed my eyes my phone went off. You guessed it right. Cole.
I picked it up quickly and stood up and picked it up."Do you even know what freaking time it is?!" I hissed quietly. I heard him chuckling and gulping.
"Almost one a.m, bedtime for the little princess, daddy loves you." He said laughing lowly.
"Daddy? What the fuck? Get that weird shit out of here." I said and was on the verge of hanging up before he said something that caught my attention.
"I'd love it if you called me daddy, you seem like the type of girl who's into that kinky stuff." He said with that attractive voice of his.
Then it hit me, he was slurring his words and gulping down something the whole time.
"Cole are you wasted?" I hissed once again. He laughed with a high pitched voice "guilty princess. Daddy's been a bad boy." Cole said and I rolled my eyes, the whole thing was hot until I found out that he was drunk, which is a complete turn off.
"Cole I'm tired you need to go to bed, and please stop calling or texting me." I said hanging up and jumped back into my bed. My eyes closed without any struggles.
Cole was still in the back of my mind though, I can't get him out of there. He's just so weird and mysterious and I love that.
I wanna know who Cole actually is.
