I left Max alone home with Alex,
I will check in once in awhile to assure that Alex is still home. If we were to leave Max alone, he might set the sofa on fire.I walk into the Eve's restaurant, "hey! Thought you weren't gonna come." Realm smiles at me when I walk towards our table.
"I thought Max was coming," Cameron looks up at me as I grab a chair from another table.
"Well, Alexander is not partying this weekend." I simply say and sat next to Aaron.
I look over at Jace who's eyes are fixated on his phone, "hey Collins, that girlfriend of yours never really talks to you, does she?" Realm questions.
"Dude, he's dating the head cheerleader." Eve reminded him, in unpleasant tone.
"What are you so pissed off about?" Jace laughs at her. "I was going to be the head!" Eve shouts at him.
"Can we just eat already?" Cameron put both of his hands up.

"Hey, you took my money!" Eve stood up and started chasing Aaron around the restaurant from a game of monopoly.
"Hey kids, it's not-" The lights in the restaurant went off. We hear thud and a groan, "oh god, not again."
The restaurant is so dark, I frantically search for my phone but then remembered we all put them in a basket as we are forbidden to use them.
"Jace."
"Right here." His ice cold hands interlocks with mine. "Your hands are very cold," he stated. His voice toned down low so I could only hear him.
"I will go over to the back," Cameron announces and then we hear another thud.
"Do you even know where it is? Geez." I could see Eve rolling her eyes at him.
After a while more, the lights went back on. Jace didn't let my hand go, he let out our hands on his thigh under the table.
"Ok, fuck monopoly. It's spin the bottle!" Eve walks in with an empty beer bottle.
"Aaron will spin it," Eve sets the bottle on the middle of the table, pushing the monopoly board to the floor. "I will clean it later," Eve murmurs.
Aaron spin the bottle landing on Realm.
"Have you suck a dick before?" Eve shoots. I shot a look at her, "why are you so curious?" Realm questions.
"Just answer the question." Jace sighs.
My phone then started ringing in the basket.
"I need to get that," I pointed. "Go get it," Jace let go of my hand.
I got up and walk over the basket.
Alex🎅🏽 is calling you
"Hey, is something wrong?" I answered.
"I left the house for like five minutes, and Max is missing!" Alex shouts into phone.
"Ok I will go to his favorite arcade, check with me again ok." I told him and ended the call.
"I am sorry, guys. I need to go." I say, picking up my things from the table.
"What's going on?" Eve questions.
"I fill you guys in tomorrow okay?" I run out of the restaurant and run across the traffic light.
It's been so long since I have been around town, I hope I can still remember the route.

I took a seat on the bench, catching my breath.
I don't even know where I am. I have been walking in circles all this while.
Jace Collins🏀 is calling you
"Hello.." I answered his call with a shaky voice.
"Hey, are you okay? We all just went home, are you home?" He bombards me with questions.
"I am fine, I just think I am lost." I muttered, looking around.
"Where are you?" He ask.
"Uh.. The pizzeria." I replied, "behind the pizzeria, is the.. arcade, I just got out of there's And I have no idea where to go, it's too dark." I added in.
"Then I should've went with you, you ran away so quickly." Jace says, heavily breathing.
"Can you stand up and turn to your left?" Jace requested.
I stood up and turn to my left, "hey, you are much more calmer than I expected. You care about other people more than yourself, you should really do something about it." Jace stated.
At the moment, I didn't know what I was doing. . . I run towards him and wrap my arms around his neck.
"I miss you," the words slip out of my mouth.
"I was with you two hours ago--"
I pull away from him, "no, no.. That's not what I meant. I have missed you since the day I left town. I have missed you since we stopped texting right after two weeks. I miss the hugs you gave me when we were 14. You held my hand asked if I was ok. And slowly I was falling in love with you, everyday it's so hard because you're not there. ."
"Blake-"
"And the reason why I stopped playing basketball, it's because it's only missing you."
"Alexandra, are you okay?" Cameron held onto my elbow. "Your older brother is looking everywhere for you." Aaron says.
"Why is she crying?" Cameron looks at Jace for an answer.
Jace stares blankly at me.
Tonight,
I have lost to my mind.
Jace now knows I love him.
...
Sometimes I wish I could turn back time-- when we were kids or 14, but not to change things.. to feel things twice. x
