Chapter 15

I sit by Jace's bed, he's in coma and he has a little cut on his face.

Doctors are not sure when he's waking up.

But the injuries seems so serious, is he gonna wake up?

Crisps, Anderson! Get yourself together.

I pinched my arm and lean forward towards him, "wake up, Jace.. I miss you." I murmured, tracing my finger from his forehead down to his chin.

» Monday

After school ends, I went straight to the gym where a last minute basketball training is being held.

"Ok, our match is on Friday and a replacement will be needed, Anderson, train well today okay?!" Coach points to me.

"Boys, I want you guys to take care of her!" Coach ordered.

"Take care of her as in, kill her and then dispose her in a bin?" Aaron ask sarcastically. I hit him in the chest and he laugh, "Blake Alexandra Anderson will be Jace Collins' replacement."

Crisps, do he have to use my full name?

» Aaron's Point Of View

After training ended, we walk out to the hallways where Eve is pushed to the lockers by Diana.

I watched Blake hesitate a little, but then she did something else we never thought she would.

She pull Eve away from Diana, gave Diana an uppercut.

"Blake!" Cameron pulls her back, she have the glare in her eyes.

"Next time you hurt my friends, I will hurt you."

I went over to get Eve up on her feet, I wrap her arms around me and saw a tear roll down Blake's cheek.

Blake then sprinted out of the school unexpectedly, "Anderson!" Realm and Cameron chased after her.

We couldn't find her anywhere, and we were going to the hospital to find Jace. Eve held an ice pack we stole from the nurse's office, she held it to her head.

"Why was you and Diana fighting?" i ask, as I drove around to search for Blake before we reach the hospital.

"I am in-charge of this Friday's game, she isn't really happy and we were just arguing but then it just got more... Interesting." Eve giggles.

"Ok, we need to get her a doctor." Realm says, looking back at her.

Cameron looks out of it, like his soul has been taken away or something.

"Can we go through the drive-thru?" Cameron perks up and ask.

"What food?" I ask, looking for nearby drive-thru.

"McDonald's will be fine." Cameron points.

After our little food trip, with no signs of Blake anywhere, we went to the hospital.

While, Eve was getting checked up. I called Blake, it took a while for her to answer.

"Anderson, are you okay?" I put her on loud speaker.

"I'm fine," she says in a low tone. "Is Eve okay?" She ask.

"Yeah, she is getting checked up now." I replied.

"You don't sound okay though, Blake. Do you want to come down and see Jace?" Cameron sits down beside me and questions.

"I am not in a position to do anything right now... But I am fine, I will come and visit Jace soon." Blake says.

"Ok, Anderson. See you soon."

"Bye." Blake ends the call and I put down my phone.

Eve came out, and got our her credit card to pay for her medical bills.

We then went up to find Jace, who is sitting up, eating food.

"Hey!" He smiles at us, "woah, what happen to you?" He looks at Eve who has a black eye and a scar on her forehead.

"Long story." Eve simply replies.

» Jace's Point Of View

As the guys prepared to leave, they found Blake sitting outside.

"Why didn't you go in?" The door shuts and I couldn't hear anything from then on.

Blake then comes in, her light brown hair is let down tonight-- she's in her hoodie and sweatpants.

She have the notes in her hands.

"Hi Blake, you got a scare, didn't you?"

She sits down on the chair and put the notes on the table, "are you okay? Why aren't you saying anything?" I reach out for her hand which is icy cold.

"Are you cold?" I got up a little, "please lay down." Blake stood up a little, gesturing me to lay down.

"I just have a crazy day," Blake says, trying very hard not to cry. She clears her throat and looks up to the ceiling, "I heard you punched Diana." I started off.

"I didn't want to... For a person that don't like violence and who gets attacks from it." Blake looks down at our hands.

"I ran straight home, I didn't care how far it was, I just kept on running and running. I got into a very cold shower, trying to figure out what's wrong with me but I don't know." Her face turn really red, and tears started streaming down her cheeks.

"Blake, come here." I lifted my blanket, she shook her head, wiping her tears away.

"Just get in." I pull on her hand a little.

She lay beside me and I put the blanket over her too, "you did a great job on that uppercut, the three boys are very impressed." I laughed, pulling her hair away from her face.

She looks at me with her blue eyes, "ok let me tell you something." I put my hand on her waist.

"Diana came by before you guys did, and I broke up with her..." I say with a smile.

"Why are you so happy?" Blake ask.

"She is an evil witch." I stated, Blake simply laughs.

"You know she still doesn't know I am back after like a month since I have been here, till today." Blake says.

"Witch."
