Shane👦🏽 ; back in town, fetching you after school.

Me ; dinner provided?

Alex🎅🏽; :3

Shane👦🏽 ; yes, dinner is provided.

"Today, the school is having an excursion. People from basketball will swap to the Drama Club."

My eyes widen at the announcement, "well, aren't we fucked?" Aaron murmurs as we walk out to the theatre.

I walk out of school immediately when they dismissed us, spotting Shane's car at the front, i immediately got into the back seat.

"Drive!" I hit Shane's shoulder, "what a nice way to say hi, Blake." Shane rolls his eyes at me and started the car engine.

"How was school? Why are you in such a rush?" Shane questions. I sit back and look at Alex who is asleep.

"Well, I avoided people the whole day. And there was drama lessons, and the drama teacher said I was good." I briefly explained and took a deep breath in.

"Why were you avoiding people?" Shane questions, I let out a groan, "because they're annoying just walking around!" I randomly make up an excuse.

But obviously, I just avoided wherever Jace is.

Me; hi?

Eve🎀; I got free tickets to a haunted house , come with ? Friday night!!

Me; I am free after basketball training.

Jace Collins🏀; same.

Realm💀; basically all of us have basketball training

Cameron🙇🏽; after basketball training, I have to go out of town so I won't be able to make it .

Eve🎀; then Aaron bring someone! so one ticket won't go to waste 😉

Aaron⛄️; sure thing.

I put my phone aside, "Alex." Shane looks at my brother.

"Your sister is going to college, what are you still at home doing nothing?" Shane ask.

I bet my father put my brother to this.

"I will go off when she goes off," Alex stated. Shane nods, and look out at Max who is having trouble eating pasta.

"Where are you going, Xandra?" Alex ask.

"I haven't thought of any colleges yet." I mumbled.

"Are you leaving anytime soon though?" I ask Shane.

"No, I will be staying till Christmas. Then in the new year, February, I need to fly off." Shane replies, I look at Max.

"We can't leave Max alone," I pointed out. "Dad is getting a babysitter." Alex told us. "I don't want a babysitter." Max frowns.

Dad needs to be home more. . .

"Max will come with me then." i decided.

Jace Collins🏀; why are you avoiding me

Jace Collins🏀; are you okay?

It took me awhile to answer his call, but I put my phone to my ear, all I hear is his heavy breathing.

"Jace?" I broke the silence between us, "Blake, are you okay?" He questions.

My vision became blurry, "yes." I gulped, holding tightly onto the bed sheets.

"No, you're not." He murmurs, "mhmm." A tear roll down my cheek.

"Can I come over, Anderson?"

He did.

Shutting the door behind him, "Shane told me." Jace murmurs, standing awkwardly by the side of my bed.

"I don't care." I have my pillow over my head, letting tears roll down my cheeks.

Flashback
8-Years-Old, Shane Anderson.

I held my younger sister's hand, Blake Anderson, I call her Xandra. We are walking in the park, there was two men offering kids candies.

They approached us, Blake and I gladly took the offer and followed them to an alley. I then pull Blake behind me, this isn't a good place.

"Hey kids! We have candies, don't you guys want some?" Blake let go of my hand and runaway, unfortunately caught by another man.

As they held me down, they were hurting Blake so badly. And I couldn't do anything, I just watch them hurt her.

End Of Flashback.

Jace's Point Of View

I watch Blake, slowly breaking apart. Because of me, because of the war going inside her head.

I lay beside her, and took the pillow off of her head. "I remember," I pull her into my chest immediately.

"I don't know what to do, firstly i was just crying about one thing and now it's mostly everything." She puts her hand over her eyes, "what is it about?" I ask.

"You're gone, Jace." She cried harder, I then move my elbow to prop myself up.

I put my hands on her cheeks, "I am still here, Blake. I will still be here, stop crying ok? You're breaking my heart."

She didn't stop crying immediately but after a while, she calm down, she have her eyes shut. I held her hand tightly the whole entire time, I lean down to her ear and whispered, "I am staying till the end."
