"Xander is sitting in front of me!" Cindy says.

"No way! I hated to be in the same class with him!"

"You're so dramatic! Why do you even hate him? He did no wrong to you."

Xander. He is handsome. I know because everyone knows. He is a swimmer superstar in our school, with records of gold medals each game.

And worse, he is the only person I couldn't stand for. He wants what he wants; he will do what he likes to do and says what he wants to say. He is also the member of the swimming team, which, I will say, is the thing I love the most."Yeah, right. So where's Jillian? Any news?" I say in the middle of chewing my sandwich.

"No clue, but I told Mai to look up. You know. She's the 'total news girl.'"

"What did she say?"

"Still no clue. I―"

"Cindy, found him!" Mai is just approaching us.

"Speaking of." I let a giggle.

"What? Jillian? In what section?" Cindy says excitedly again. She always does that when talking about guys.

"Miss Beck's class!" Mai say as she sits beside Cindy.

"Miss Beck's?!" Cindy shouts and looks at me, just shock as I am. I do not know why, but I just do. Maybe just a best friend thing. "Same as yours, Annie. Maybe you saw him. Just didn't recognize."

I repicture the images of my classmates and the old picture of Jillian in my memory. "No, no one familiar as Jillian. I searched, for you." I shake my head.

"But he is. People are talking about him. How he changed a lot." Mai interrupt.

"So that's the reason I can't recognize him."

"Yeah. Maybe." Mai says and leaves.

"I will check." I say and smile. I wink at Cindy. "For you."

She lean forward and hugs me. "Thank you, I love you!" She sits back.

"Okay, first of all, why are you even interested to him? It's been eight or seven years." I say. "You still love him now?"

"Annie," She says sweetly serious. "I never stopped."

I burst laughing. "Gosh, Cindy! You're so dramatic again!"

"What's the prob? It is true." She raises her brows."

I shook my head.

"If only Facebook or Twitter were there before he left..." She says sadly. Al though I know she's just acting, knowing her for years.

"Stop it! The time is almost done. Finish up."

Cindy and I talks about our classmates and how I haven't noticed Jillian.

We finish lunch and get up.

We go to the locker area again. I see a piece of blue paper with a cell number in it. I know where it came from. I just can't fight the urge to smile. The picture of him writing down on his desk is a perfect still.

"What's that?" Cindy asks peeking.

"Nothing." I say and fold the paper in pocket. I go back my classroom with a smile hoping it was his.
