"Double Date?!" Cindy say on the phone while I buy new dresses on sale. Ooohhh I love that red one!
"Well, Ian's cousin will visit them later and you'll definitely like him." I say.
"You saw him already?"
"No, but well, you know, I think he looks good."
I bought the red glittered dress with a Sunday dress just for later.
"How can you be sure?"
"Because he lives in a bloodline who is." I say matter-of-factly.
"But you think he'll like me?"
"Duh, of course. You are my bestfriend. Everyone should like you. Besides, I want you to meet my new boyfriend formally. Ian wants to meet you too."
"Really? I like him."
"Pardon?"
"As your boyfriend." She laugh. "Seriously as I said, I am happy for you. Count me in."
"Great. Meet you at 2 okay?"
"Today already?"
"Uhm no. On the next century." I say sarcastically.
"Kdot. Whatever." And she laughs and hung up.
I walk down Starbucks to grab some coffee.
Ian calls. "You ready for later?"
"Yup. I called Cindy. She will come."
"Great. My cousin is here already. See you later!"
I went home and wore the Sunday dress I bought.
"Another date?" Dad ask on my door way.
"Uh-huh." I put the earrings Ian bought me on our monthsary. "Double date."
"Double as in with two couples or double as in one after another date?" He ask.
"Well, the first one. There's no such thing as the second one, dad." I laugh.
"Have fun!" He say as he hug me. "Tomorrow we'll go to church. You can bring Ian."
"Sure."
"And about that homework last night?" He say. Remembering what alibi I told him.
"Oh. I finished it last night." I say.
"Good." He kiss my forehead and left.
I call Cindy, "Are you ready?" I am on my way to my car.
"Yep, on my way."
Jillian calls too.
"Okay. See you later." I said to Cindy and answer the other call. "Hey."
"We're here. Where are you?" Jillian ask.
"On my way. Cindy is too." I say.
"I can't wait to see you."
I laugh. "For your information, we're just together last night."
"The past twelve hours is so long."
"Well, I also want to kiss you already." I say. "I need to go, now. I'm driving. Bye. I love you, baby."
"I love you too. See you."
I drive my way to the mall where we should meet.
I park my car. I found Jillian with a guy possibly his cousin with hair just like his―black. They also have the same height. Around five-nine or five-ten. "Annie!" Jillian called me.
