Chapter Fourteen
"It's getting late. Aren't you going?" Dad ask through his morning papers.
Dad made me toast and milk. "Ian will pick me up."
He look at me. "So it's really official in school? Nothing to hide?"
"Yes. It's because of that journal."
"How about Cindy? You talked to her?"
"Not yet. But hope I will this day." I look down at my toast.
"You'll be fine, Annie."
The door bells.
"I'll get it." I go to the door and open it. As I expected, it's Jillian.
"Goodmorning." He grins.
"Goodmorning. Come in."
He look at dad. "Goodmorning, sir."
"Ian, have breakfast." Dad say.
"Thank you. But I just had at home." He smiles.
"We'll leave now, dad. Bye." I give him goodbye kiss and hug. I take a bread on the plate then walk to Jillian's car.
He open the door for me and I sit. He enter the driver side. He start the way to school.
"Goodmorning again." I say and this time, I kiss him. Just the smack kiss.
"Whoa, Goodmorning sunshine."
He offer me Starbucks and I took it. He also have one for himself.
I drink. "Cappucino?"
"As always." He smile.

Walking in school is hard before. But now, I feel free. Free that I can tell the world I am with Jillian. But also free that reminds me of the guilt I feel for Cindy and I feel conscious of myself. Maybe people are criticizing me right now. Telling that I dont deserve Jillian, he is too much for someone like me.
He ask if I need help with my things. Just like what couples do in movies or tv. The guy will hold the things of the girl even the bag. But I insist to just hold mine. I have nothing but my bag and few books and so does he, so we're fair.
We reach the classroom.
Well, I am hoping that the issue wouldn't be that big and they wouldn't care.
"Hey. You didn't tell us, Ian. You're with Annie."
"Well, that's the couple."
"Why did you hid it? You're cool together. We didn't even thought about it."
More more. I just smile at them.
Ian say, "Just to keep it a mystery."
The crowd laugh. "Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!"
"Yes. Just like the stalled kiss before. You remember the spin the bottle game the first day of school?" Carl say.
"Come on. Just one to prove you're not messing with us." Liz say.
"I'll kiss him?" I look at Ian. He is grinning and handsome. "Gosh, I hate this classroom." Then kiss Ian. Just a touch kiss like what I did when his lips were still stiff.
"Wooo." They cheer.
Then Ms.Beck enter and she look at me to Ian with suspicious but smiling looks.
We head to our seats. Well, it is a relief that I could do all of these things. This is the feeling of being in love.
I glance at Jillian's place. He is already looking. He smile widely and wink. Then I look back infront.
