So today, we had the Spelling Bee and I was in it for winning my class Spelling Bee. So it was 2 kids in each class, and I was so scared. I made it farther than last year's winner. And then, there were three of us. Bailey Brinkley, Mason Bayles, and me!
So Mason, got out to join the others for a 3rd place run-off, and it was only me and Bailey. Bailey got the word 'cellular' and spelled it, 'celular'. So I had to spell two words to win. My first word was 'hammock', no big deal. Then I got the word that made me so nervous, 'parable'. I forgot about "The Stanley Parable" for a second and went blank.
I took a guess... I was right! I actually won! I got the beautiful trophy seen above! And a spot in the Regional Spelling Bee in January! Oh my god I am so happy!
