chapter 5

"dude, the commander is kinda pissed at you angel," fox whispered in my ear quietly. he got here little more than ten minutes before, and he wouldn't get off my back for leaving him with a grumpy commander. i could see jean argueing with someone a few meters away, the mystery person had chocolate brown hair and strange teal eyes. he seemed to harbor great determination, and something to hide. i shook off the thought, it was nothing that concerns me at all, i'll just try to stay away from him, i don't associate with liars.

the door in front of us burst open, a few people entering the room. these strangers were a man and a woman, the man looked grumpy and strict if not totally impassive, and the girl wore glasses and wore her dark brown hair in a ponytail. they seemed to be talking... or arguing? i can't tell, she's so happy that every other emotion is nonexistent in her personality from what i can see. the man on the other hand is a blank slate completely, no emotion whatsoever.

"note to self, stay away from them as well," i mumbled to myself, however lukas heard every bit of it.

"why do you want to avoid everyone here? they seem fun, well all but that killjoy with the stone cold expression anyway," pointing out the stoic man that was with the jubilant woman with glasses.

"that's lance corporal levi, you don't want to get on his bad side, he isn't very forgiving," jean said causing me to jump in surprise.

"why are you here!? shouldn't you still be arguing with the other guy!" i turn around blushing. my exclaim caught the ears of a few certain people, one being the corporal, another being the guy with the weird and strangely appealing teal eyes, and the others being a blond boy, and a girl with ebony hair. they all gave me strange looks while lukas, and the elis twins were teasing me.

"angel why are you blushing?" lukas asked with a sickly innocent smile, my face then turned more red and i replied.

"he surprised me!"

"i think that lexi is being shy~" karma teased

"no, no karma you got it all wrong, she's definitely acting as a tsundere for the audience~" toni badgered. my eyebrow twitched and i lost control of my body. i tackled toni to the ground and playfully shoved his face into the gray brick of the floor.

"say something like that again and i'll fill your room with spiders got it!?" i hissed to the larger cadet.

"y-yes ma'am it will not happen again! i swear it on karmas scarred hand!" he pleaded

"hey! it's not my fault the blade slipped!" karma then replied.

everyone around started laughing, well except the corporal, but that's to be expected.

"tch, idiots" he mumbled then walked away.
