Chapter 3: FairyTail's Weakling

Ever since Lisanna came back, Natsu always with Lisanna, talking to her. Lisanna and Lucy did talk occasionally but mostly work or about Natsu. And everytime they spoke, Lucy always have a bad feeling, feeling worse everytime but Lucy would just dismiss it.

(At the market)
"Ne Lushiee, "Happy started.
"Yea?"
"Is it me or reality that now Natsu hardly hangout with us or you already?" Happy asked.
"It is you."
"No kidding, but it has been 2 weeks since he last hangout with us." Happy argued.
"Tsk. Your imagination." Lucy replied, before having a faraway look, " 2 weeks, eh?" She thought. "Lucy, I found FISHH!" Happy cried as he drooled at the fish stall. Lucy giggled as she went there and bought two fishes. "Yay!!" Happy said as he reach for the fish. "Nuh-uh-uh Happy. We are gonna grilled them." Lucy slapped Happy's paws. "Who is gonna cook them?" Happy asked, eyeing the two fishes. "Me." Lucy reply casually. "EHHHHHH!!!!" Happy yelled. "What!" Lucy retorted. "I don't believe you can cook!" Happy said in disbelief. "I will Show you!" Lucy buffed as she walk faster to the guild. "Wait up! Lushiee!" Happy cried as he sort of struggled to fly faster with one heavy bag full of groceries.

(At the Guild hall)
"Hey Natsu," Lisanna started.
"Hm?" Natsu paused from his meat.
"Where's Happy?"
"I don't know. You know how cats are unpredictable." Natsu shrugged off, proceeding to eat.
"But somehow Happy was never with us, not even once, I was wondering if Happy doesn't like me anymore." Lisanna looks sad. Natsu hates his friends getting sad. He decided to talk to Happy later at night. Just then, Lucy came with bags full of groceries.
"Ah thank you for much for helping, Lucy." Mira said sweetly.
"No problem." Lucy smiled as she handed the bags. Happy finally came in with the last bag of groceries. "Happy, you are slow."
"It is because you gave me the heaviest." Happy protest.
"Since when, I carry more than you, besides, I gave you the lightest one." Lucy defended.
"It feels like a ton." Happy said as he pass over the bag to Mira. "Jeez.... anyway, you wait for a while , i will go cooked the fishes." Lucy said as she put on an apron, starting to grilled the fishes. Happy started to drooled and have sparkling eyes. Charle walk past Happy and said in a disgusted tone, " Keep your mouth shut, Tom cat!" A light bulb appeared on Happy. "Charle, why don't you have some fish with me? Lushee is grilling them." "N-" Charle glanced over at Happy's face and gave in,"F-Fine." Happy cheered.

After a while, Lucy came out and place a plate of two fishes in front of Happy and Charle. "Bon appetite!" Lucy cheerfully said. Happy took a sniff, assuring himself that it was safe. He took himself a cautious bite before finishing the whole fish. "You are a good cook." Happy commented as he patted his tummy. "It is delicious." Charle agreed, still eating her share. Lucy giggled.

(At Natsu and Happy's house, night time)

"Oi Happy, why didn't you hangout with us?" Natsu questioned.
"Us?" Happy answered innocently.
"You know, Lis and me."
"Why should I? When you didnt even bother to hangout with Lushee and me." Happy demanded.
"What do you mean? You know I can't lose another best friend again." Natsu growling.
"Oh really," Happy retorted," then why didn't you hangout with us? We are your best buddies and Lucy is your Girlfriend!!!" Happy yelled and hiss at him, with it's tail standing up, furs standing up.
"Grrr, Lucy would understand me." Natsu counters.
"Yeah yeah! Wait till LUSHEE DECIDED TO LEAVE YOU FOR ANOTHER PERSON, YOU SEE IF YOU CAN TAKE IT." HAPPY YELLED at his top of his lungs before adding quietly, "Is either Lisanna or me and Lucy. You choose." Happy said, before walking away. "If that's the case, I choose Lisanna." Natsu replied before storming out of the house. Happy started to cry.
"Gah! What the he'll is wrong with Happy?!" Natsu said as he grabbed his hair out of frustration.

"Natsu? Is that you?" A sweet voice ask in concern.
Natsu looked up and it was Lucy. "Hey Luce." He replied glumly.
"What's wrong?" Lucy asks as she sat besides Natsu.
"I had a quarrel with Happy. He wanted me to choose between Lisanna or you and him." He said frustrated.
"So what's your answer?" Lucy asked.
"I said Lisanna out of anger. But I wanted Happy, you, lisanna and me be awesome friends. Gahh!"
"I see...." Lucy's fringe covered her top half of her face. "Luce? What's wrong?" Natsu asked, concern. "Huh? Nothing. I need to go already, bye." Lucy quickly as she ran. "Luce..." Natsu stared at her. Lucy stopped running as she began to cry. "Lisanna. He said Lisanna. But why? Am I not a good girlfriend? Even if it is on impulse, it still hurts. What happened to you, Natsu?" She ask to nobody as she cried.
