Chapter 19

Damn she'd used up to much energy yesterday, she was out of practice, her head was pounding and she didn't even have a fucking drink to blame it on. She tried to move but couldn't, her eyes shot open as her senses immediately went into overdrive and her hand went to the but of the gun under her pillow. She saw fur, gorgeous fur, like a smokey grey with hints of chocolate black thrown in. It made her want to snuggle up and go back to sleep, especially since her shirt had ridden up a bit and she could feel how silky the fur felt against her bare skin.

She felt an arm around her waste tighten as a chin nuzzled into her neck. Her heart went erratic and her hormones started heating up she clenched her eyes shut tight as the memories from last night unveiled themselves in her mind. Christ she'd practically thrown herself at them, she'd acted like the slut she'd been on one of her missions. Only this time she hadn't killed them as soon as they'd kissed her. "Fuck!"

She might have said that louder than she'd intended and she held her breathe as the twin behind her shifted and took his arm from her belly to throw over his eyes. She grinned, escape!

She carefully extracted herself from the bed and moved to the closet to change, when she came back out she saw the wolf, who she realized now was Cobalt staring at her with knowing eyes. She had a feeling she was staring at the wolf personality more than the human right now and she let a playful grin slip past her lips as she put a finger over her mouth.

The wolf's ears perked up and he stood up and jumped over his brother and to the floor. However the seemingly perfect leap was ruined when one of the wolf's paws got caught in the edge of the blanket and he tripped to the floor with a yelp bring the blanket with him as it landed over his body. The sudden cold air didn't help matters for Arrow who let out a yelp and rolled over in an attempt to reclaim the warmth, Ash let out a giggle when he lost his balance and fell to the floor on top of the wolf who was trying to get rid of the blanket.

She started laughing when both twins freaked out and tried attaching each other, the sight of a half naked ripped guy wrestling with a lump of dark purple and hot pink fabric was to much and soon she was bending over at the waste and wiping her eyes.

When she finally got control of herself she glanced up to see that Arrow had changed into his wolf as well a beautiful wolf with dark red fur with streaks of orange in the right light. Cobalt had removed himself from the blanket and they were both staring at her with a playful mischief look in their eyes. They stepped forward a bit and her eyes widened as she held up her hands in front of her, "Oh no, we need to talk like adults, human adults so change back and I'll go make a pot of coffee."

the bribe of fresh coffee, her fresh coffee which the entirety of the bloody wolves loved didn't seem to do anything for the two giant advancing wolves. She kept backing up until her hand touched the doorknob, "I warn you now if you break anything in this house i will be very upset. I still have some liquid silver bullets that I'm not afraid to use on your Wolfy hides." With that she quickly ran out the door and slammed it shut behind her just as a wolfed out body thudded against it, she smirked and went down to the kitchen, coffee was in order.

What she didn't expect to see was the six foot pack of muscle sitting in my kitchen with what looked like breakfast takeout and fresh coffee. He nonchalantly ran a hand over his military buz cut looking out of place in her tiny kitchen. His other hand fingered a obsidian black knife and smirked at her. "Ash."
