*This note will be at the top of each one of these until I finish them. Merry Christmas, I hope you enjoy them and they make your holidays a little bit brighter. Yes, I am going to do this for Pietro and Yes, I'm going to do this for the others but they have to wait their turn because I have(OCD) to go in order from first to last or I won't be happy with it. Enjoy~!

Poor Hank, he tried and tired to help people but none seemed to appreciate that help. You did but you were one amongst few that did, but at this point, you thought he was used to it judging from the lack of concern on his face anymore. You really enjoyed being with him in his little lab even though you understood very little when it came to the science part of his experiments and tests. You had been hoping that the more time you spent with him the better you would understand him. You, mostly, understood him easily. He liked to study, liked his room, hated his mutation, and blushed whenever you complimented him. He wasn't hard to understand but he was certainly much more interesting than any other person you had come across. Of course, you wouldn't have met him had it not been for Charles so you thank him whenever you can. Always being the modest one he always tells you he only brought you to him but you would have found him on your own one day.

You smiled, sitting crossed-legged by the fire in the massive main room in the mansion. Everyone that had supportive families had gone back to them, those that lied also went back and those that had no where to be stayed. You would always choose this mansion over being home alone, it was lonely most of the time. You also didn't decorate there, you couldn't afford to but here they always decorated and you had even been able to help. This place was your home and with Hank here it certainly felt like one.

"You know there is a chair you can sit in instead of sitting on the floor?" You tilted your head back, smiling, you had known he was coming up here because of your mutation. Despite knowing this you always got nervous when he was around, always tried to prepare yourself for when he came around but it never seemed to work.

"I know, but this isn't so bad and it's much warmer than being in those!" You turned back towards the fireplace and continued to stare into the fire, a habit you had since you were a small child.

"What are you doing?" He found himself sitting next to you on the floor instead of sitting in a chair, like he had tried to get you to do.

"I'm watching the fire, why?" You didn't move to look at him like you usually would have done, the fire's flickering had your full focus.

"It's a bit strange, don't'cha think?"

"Not really, did you know Christmas is a week away? I was wondering," You turned to face him your eyes still the soft colour he had always enjoyed looking into.

"What did you want for Christmas, Hank?" Your question made his face redden and he shrugged making your shoulder move with his.

"I don't really know, I never really think about Christmas gifts. Do you know what you want for Christmas?" You could think of a few material items you wanted, and yes those would have been nice but you didn't ask for those.

"A kiss, I want a kiss from you." You had always been straightforward and honest with him so he wasn't sure why he had expected something different. Why he had expected you to act shy when you asked him this or why he had expected you to ask for something else. He had always been nervous, so much so that he restricted physical contact with everyone including you.

"I'll see what I can do." It was all he could offer as a response for you and it was good enough.

"Alright." You said, leaning your head on his shoulder eye directed towards the flames again.

It was quiet for a long time while he sat with you. You were happy sitting here, happy as could be even though there were things that you both could be doing, instead, you chose to sit by the fire together. You had to admit that the silence and comfort was pleasant but the stares you felt were not. You knew that Charles and Raven were behind you two, you had known for a while but you chose to ignore them because you wanted to enjoy this before it was ruined by them.

"Would you two leave us alone?" You had hoped that Charles would get the picture and pull Raven along and he did but not before you were text'd a picture. You had looked at it only briefly with your face suddenly red with embarrassment, Raven was great at making you feel embarrassed with her quick comments and snide remarks.

"What was that?" You hadn't realized he had seen it.

"Nothing, Hank you wanna go outside?" You smiled glancing up at him.

"Sure, oh, um," He grabbed your hand once you were both standing "Merry Christmas."

"Merry Christmas, Hank."
