(Young)Charles Xavier
Traveling with Charles and Erik, convincing other mutants to join the cause and save them from a world that doesn't understand is a very hard job indeed. Some days you went off of coffee all day and night just to help out any way you could. Others you just couldn't handle being awake any longer and fell asleep at the first chance. Today was one of those days where you just couldn't handle being awake for much longer. You three had made it to a local hotel and once you had managed to get into the room you collapsed, falling asleep nearly the instant your head hit the cushioned bed. With Erik in the shower and Charles waiting for his turn he sat next to you. "Precious girl, I don't know what I'd do without you around." He whispered running his hand through your hair and over your cheeks softly tracing your features. You moved into the touch, wanting more of the soothing motion against your skin as it was comforting. Charles promised to continue once he was out of the shower, not that you heard him, but he thought it was only common courtesy to promise this small gesture to you. You did seem to enjoy it and you worked just as hard as they did with recruiting people and calming down anyone who didn't trust Erik and himself. You deserved a rest after the week you had.
(Young)Erik Lehnsherr
You've been having quite the time trying to get to sleep lately, either it was stress making your brain over-analyze everything or being uncomfortable. You were walking through the day zombie-like, unable to focus or carry on a decent conversation without zoning out. "Good afternoon." Erik greeted you calmly as he usually did after he was finished with his business with Charles. "Oh, um, hey. How was," You were zoning out some and found it very hard to focus on speaking. "How was work with Charles?" He raised his eyebrow at your behaviour before grabbing your arm to help support your weight as he saw you sway some. You immediately collapsed against him, "What's the matter with you?" He asked, a little harsh in his tone. "Haven't been able to sleep." You managed and he didn't say anything else, taking you straight to your room. He placed you down on the bed and sat next to you, his hand in yours as you closed your eyes. "Will you stay here? I know you're busy, but, I don't want to be alone." You whispered looking into his eyes as best you could through the darkness of the room. "I will." He said simply, tracing small circles on your hand with his fingertips.
(Young)Hank McCoy
Hank worked himself into exhaustion sometimes, mostly when it came to studying new mutant DNA or trying to find a way to cure his own condition. He slept on occasion, sometimes against his desk ruining paperwork with drool or sometimes on your own bed when he had come looking for you. You on the other hand really valued your sleep, sleeping nearly every night without any problem but lately with Hank not around you started having trouble sleeping. Unable to get comfortable or maybe just missing his arm over your waist, you couldn't place the reason all you knew was that you were really tired. Stomping through the mansion, irritable and sleepy, you went in search of Hank. An easy task for you in a healthy and well-rested state but right now you couldn't make out who was who. So, anyone you found you asked where he was and most of them did not know. You finally found him in the office to his lab, it sat on the other side of the room and through another door. You had managed to get him to agree to come to bed after that last small portion of paperwork, which turned out to be a lie. He was well into another page when you had fallen asleep across the desk from him, curled up uncomfortable in the chair. When morning would finally come around you would find yourself in your own bed again with an arm over your waist.
Pietro "Peter" Maximoff(AoU)
Between the arguments and the parties you weren't sure what kept you up more often. You had thought that maybe if you lived with it long enough that you would be able to tune it out, like make it become your background noise but you hadn't been so lucky. No matter how hard you had hoped for sleep, tonight, it was evading you like a terribly sweet temptation. "Pete?" You felt the sudden wind and tension of the blanket over you becoming taunt. "Sleep, I 'eard the butler of Tony's-" "Jarvis?" He nodded and even in the dark you could sort of see him. "I 'eard that you 'ad not been sleeping vell so I will be 'ere until you do. You shouldn't 'ave to sleep alone after all." He whispered and suddenly the weight of your exhaustion hit you and moving was nearly impossible. "Please, I vill be vight 'ere ven you vake up." He promised and you curled up and fell asleep. When morning came and you looked back you saw the sleeping and content face sleeping there just as he promised.
James "Logan" Howlett
Logan had changed a great deal of things in his life for you, from the way he talked to the fact that he willingly cuddled with you at night. You knew it would be naive to believe that he would be there each and every night to cuddle away your nightmares but the occasional one couldn't hurt. You had tried nearly every trick you knew to get to sleep but you really could not manage to fall. You lay in bed staring at the ceiling when the door to the house open and closed and your chest leapt in excitement. You were so tired, so ready to sleep that you would beg Logan to cuddle if you had to do so. "Can't sleep?" He asked in his gruff voice as he changed into some looser pants, leavin his shirt off before walking over to the bed where you were grumpily lying. "No, I miss my cuddle partner." You said with a dry chuckle as he slipped into bed with you. "Well, I would have been back sooner if it weren't for some of the kids." You moved to place your head on his chest and arm over his torso. Listening to his story slowly put you to sleep, like a child with a bedtime story. When morning came along you were alone in bed but well rested thanks to your personal teddy bear.
Victor Creed
The weather had been as bipolar as your moods, sunny for a while and then overcast with the chance of rain. So when the moment came where the sun was shining pleasantly with a matching breeze you couldn't pass up the chance to spend your time outside. You took a blanket and a book outside to the small porch in front of the house where the sun was shining on you just enough to be pleasant and not too hot. You lay the blanket out and became comfortable in the other world the book provided. You hadn't heard Victor come out, mostly because you had fallen asleep on the blanket with your book and arms as a pillow. He gave a slight grunt before chuckling and lifting you up into his arms awkwardly but gently. He was going to put you down but you now clung to him and he couldn't pry you off without waking you up; he didn't want that so he made himself comfortable on the bed with you in his arms. When you'd wake up later you'd be surprised to see him holding you with a content look on his sleeping face. You'd be sure to tease him mercilessly about it later.
