*This note will be at the top of each one of these until I finish them. Merry Christmas, I hope you enjoy them and they make your holidays a little bit brighter. Yes, I'm going to do this for the others but they have to wait their turn because I have(OCD) to go in order from first to last or I won't be happy with it. Enjoy~!

You were happily humming some Christmas songs while sitting quietly at your desk. You were waiting for your students, the last class of the day and semester to finish with their final exams. You were humming quietly, a smile creeping onto your face every now and then when you thought about getting the chance to get home.

You finally convinced, with a great deal of help from your friends, Logan to get a tree. You had begged him to help you decorate it , something you loved doing because it was only up for a month and then you had to wait another year for this chance again.

You knew very well that Logan was not the holiday type, he was the sit home and grumble type but you managed to change that. At least a little bit. Charles had said it was a gift of yours, something that you could do that no one else could. The way you were able to bring out the best in people and change them for the better was something he said was un-measurable. You didn't quite understand it but you took the compliment as you did many others, with a large friendly smile.

You had also, lord knows how, convinced Logan to move closer to the Mansion. He had begrudgingly left his small secluded cabin behind in order to help Charles, which was the only thing in the end that made him change his mind. Or so he said.

One by one the students filed out of your room and you weren't sure if it was the holiday season or the fact that your class was their very last exam of the semester that made them smile walking out but you were happy they were happy. You didn't realize that it was your contagious happiness, your contagious smile that made them smile that made them happy in turn.

Once the grade were in and the room neat and locked you spent a few fleeting moment by the window on the second floor hallway. Enjoying the small flakes of snow fluttering around with the wind guiding them into place on the window sill. You were happy, very happy in fact, to get home for many reasons but mostly the a fore mentioned tree.

"Bye, Professor!" Some of the still remaining students called out to you as you headed towards the main doors of the mansion.

"Leaving so soon?" The voice was unmistakably Charles' and you turned to greet the wheel-chair bound man.

"Afraid so, I should get back before Logan take this chance to throw out the tree I just managed to convince him to get!" You laughed slightly hearing him chuckle.

"Alright, see you in January then?" you nodded giving him a small hug, he had after all become like a father to you. You had assumed he was like a father to most of the students seeing as some of them didn't have the family they wanted or needed anymore.

"Of course, see you then." You flashed him one last smile before heading out into the snow and slush of winter.
