Today I was going to hang out with Shannon and Cammie. I hadn't been to the trading post near their house yet so we were all going to go there today. Cammie said they have a great juice truck there so that was a plus. I kind of needed to wrap my head around the whole Stevie situation anyway. Being outdoors and hanging out with friends should certainly help clear my head. Maybe I could talk about it with them? I'm not going to just be like "Hi, I have a huge crush on Stevie, HALP." No, then they'd think I'm super weird. I'll try to work it into the situation at the right time. I grabbed a simple black shoulder bag while heading out the door, in case I got anything I liked and didn't want to have to hold it the whole time. I was leaning against the lamppost outside my house when Shannon and Cammie pulled up. I walked up and got into the backseat on the passenger side and there was someone else sitting in the back also.

Cammie, who was riding shotgun, immediately introduced the brunette haired girl on her phone that I was now sitting next to. "Ally, this is Heather, our roommate."

"Hi." I motioned in an awkward way that sort of passed as a wave.

"Hey." Heather say and just went back to her phone.

"So," I started. "What's really at this trading post?"

Cammie turned around to face me, looking excited like I had just asked the question she was dying to answer. "Well, there's all these cute little vendor stands where they sell anything from cool colored stones, to handbags, to jewelry. There's a few food trucks there and there's this awesome juice truck that has AMAZING vegan smoothies. You have to try one."

"Okay. Is it that expensive? I mean how cheap can this market be, it is LA after all."

"It's actually pretty cheap. The vendors are really nice people, right Shan?"

Shannon had been paying more attention to the road, not our conversation so Cammie caught her off guard. "What? Oh, um, yeah. They're really nice. There's this one vendor who put aside a handbag for my mom that I'm picking up today. She didn't have to and was really nice about it. So I might go get that while you guys get smoothies."

Heather glanced up from her phone. "Oh, I'm going to go with you because I wanted to look at the necklaces in the next tent over from her."

"Ok," Shannon said pulling into a parking spot on the street near an open lot that had a lot of tents and foot traffic. "So, Heather and I will go to the vendors first, Cam, you want to take Ally and pick up some smoothies and just meet up after?"

"Yeah, that's fine. That's a good game plan babe." She kissed Shannon before we all got out of the car.

Shannon and Heather separated from us while Cammie and I weaved through the overcrowded areas trying not to get bumped into by lousy tourists. After a few pokes of strangers' elbows, and oblivious people almost colliding into us, we made it to the juice truck. "I think it's just really busy today because it's Sunday."

"Yeah. I don't know how you get in here all level headed."

"Oh we usually don't have a game plan like we do today, we usually just wander around and find stuff we like. You just seem like the type of person who is more comfortable with an idea of what we're going to be doing."

"Pretty much." I said while looking at the handwritten chalkboard sign on the side of this truck. They obviously overused their colored pack of chalk but it was still decent. There was a lot of flowers and underlined things though. I just picked out a simple fruit smoothie and I think Cammie got some kind of juice with beets, apples, ginger and lemon.

When we were waiting for our drinks, Cammie asked "So you're single right?"

"Yeah. Why do you ask?"
