When we reached the cave, I realised that I had underestimated us.

The sun had at least an hour to set but then we still wouldn't have been able to make it to the next cave, so I didn't bother to dwell on it.

The cave was slightly larger than the past few that we had stayed in but not by much, although it was strange that it was obviously bigger.

Hmm.

I stuck my head through the magic screen and saw the most amazing place of my life, it was a fairground and everything seemed to be empty. Every stall had a sign saying; 'Please help yourself, don't bother to leave payment.'

This place was my dream holiday, in fact it was my dream. Period.

"Guys, you have to see this!" I said walking forwards, straight into the cave.

The air smelt like popcorn and fairy floss and none of the rides had any long lines.

There was a Katy Perry song playing from the speakers laced around the cave to make up for the fact that the ghosts weren't making any loud noises and I smiled.

I LOVE fairs!

I heard my friends walked in right behind me and I turned to find them with their jaws practically scrapping the ground.

"It's better than Disney World!"

"There aren't any lines!

"Everything's free!"

I laughed at their comments and grabbed Ebony by the hand squeezing it once to show my enthusiasm.

"Can we actually eat and keep this stuff?" asked Nathan raising his eyebrows so high, they looked like they were trying to escape.

"Nathan, control your eyebrows. And, I mean probably, we could eat the fruit from the other cave AND we haven't gotten sick or anything."

He shrugged and gave me a cocky grin. "Touché."

"Do you even know what that means?" I asked still gripping Ebony's hand leading her over to the photo booth.

"Yes." He said turning for the 'X-treme' ride which had just stopped it's round, letting off about ten ghosts who were all laughing and screaming silently with pure joy written on their faces.

And to be completely honest I had no idea if he did or not, but I let it go.

The photo both was only a few metres away and I couldn't wait to capture this moment with my best friend.

Yes, my best friend because after all this time I can give that title to someone again, maybe I'm not as different as I thought.

But then I can't really judge I'm in the freakin' Underworld... totally normal.

The photo booth that was sitting in front of us had many props and costumes in front of it and so while Ebony was mulling over what to put on, I chose a pair of massive glasses and a pink feather boa, Ebony finally decided on a crown and a tiny pink moustache.

We got in the booth and threw our arms around each other, grinning like idiots. The booth took the picture and we let go of each other, making stupid faces. The booth took the picture and we took off our costumes and stood their smiling as nicely as we could have.

We stepped out of the booth laughing and took the two pictures out of the photo dispenser.

Ebony's hair was a mess and I had dirt smeared on my chin, but I didn't care and neither did Ebony, we smiled at each other and put our photos in our bags.
