Chapter 12

Andrew POV

I can't believe Leo told the whole school I'm going out with Ben! I knew it was him when I smelt him at the car park that day, he was hiding in a corner watching us. I knew he was bullying Ben all along but Ben decided not to report him.

I dragged him into the toilet and gave him a good beating until he was begging.

"Please stop! I beg you please!" He said kneeling done on the floor, looking at me pathetically.

"Don't you ever dare to mess with me or Ben again! You hear me?!" I growled in front of his face.

He nodded frantically and scurried out of the toilet. I closed my eyes to calm myself down, preventing my wolf from coming out and turn this school into a slaughterhouse.

I wanted to go and check on Ben since all these things have been too overwhelming for him. Melson texted me saying he had returned home safely so I headed to his house after school.

I saw his house from a distance but his bedroom window was covered with his curtains. I ran over to his house door and rang the bell.

"Oh hey, Andrew. Came here to find Ben?" She smiled. Reminds me of my mother.

"Yeah. Mind if I see him for a sec?"

"You can see him for how long you want. Our home welcomes you. He had a really bad day at school today, I heard from the boy who fetched him home just now." She sounds worried.

"Thanks, Mrs. Colins. Don't worry he is a strong man." I kissed her cheek.

I walked upstairs to his bedroom. I opened the door slowly and saw him sleeping soundly on his bed. I walked over and sat on his bed.

His eyes are puffy and his eyebrows were knitted, he has been crying. My wolf ached at the sight of our poor little mate. I wanted to rip out the throats of every single person in the cafeteria this morning. How could they treat my mate like that just because of his sexual orientation?!

I brushed my thumb against his cheeks and planted a soft kiss on his smooth baby cheeks. I pulled up his blanket, covering his body so he wouldn't catch a cold. We werewolves won't get sick but humans will so I need to take good care of my mate, I don't want him to leave me because of any sickness.

I wrote a note for him and left it on the nightstand. I looked over my shoulder before going out, making sure I don't wake him up.

Ben POV

I woke with puffiness on my eyes. I rubbed my eyes and I felt that someone came by.

I sat up and turned my head to look at the electronic clock on my nightstand, but I noticed a paper was under it.

I walked over to my nightstand and picked up the paper. I smiled at the note to see it was from Andrew. Whenever I received small notes or kisses, even a single skin contact could make me go ecstatic and happy.

Meet me over by the river in the forest behind our school.

I quickly changed up and left my house. My mom seemed to know about the incident happened today, she was bombing me with thousands of questions so I left as quickly as I could.  I wore my jacket and beanie as the weather today was quite chilly even though there's sun shining brightly.
