Ben POV

Since the day I found out I was pregnant, I tend to blank out more frequently. I was thinking of the ways I could break the news without causing my parents die of heart attack. My life is in a mess right now.

"Ben?! What are you thinking right now?!" Janice frowned.

"I'm sorry. I just feel very tired today." I pinched my nose bridge.

"Never mind. I've already finished the project. I'll be going now. Have a good rest." She took her bag and left my house.

I really need to take a break. I think the hormones have really messed my mood.

I took my jacket and headphones and head outside. Every time I have troubles I always take a bus and sit for the whole route. It helps me to think of the ways to solve my problems.

I boarded the bus and found a seat at the end of the bus. I picked a bus with long routes so I could have more time to think.

I settled down and put on my headphones. I switched on my phone and saw a picture of Andrew doing a silly face. He took a picture of him and set it as my background so I would never forget about him. I smiled and played my music playlist. I have a very long music list, from pop to ballad.

I looked outside of the window, seeing trees and people and cars. My mind began to drift.

What should I do to you, my little baby? I thought as I placed my hand on my belly. The relationship between Andrew and his father has already broken, if they found out I'm pregnant Mr. Kingsley may not accept me or my baby. He might think this baby as an abomination and reject him. I'm fine with being rejected but I can't let my baby being insulted or humiliated.

Wow, I sound so motherly. Ha.

I feel like ever since the first time Andrew introduced me to his parents, Andrew and his father are always quarreling over the same subject. Over me. I'm the cause of this whole saga. I'm the one that should leave.

A tear slid down my cheeks. I wiped it away but more came rolling down. I covered my mouth to silence my cry.

After an hour of bus ride, I came back home with puffy eyes. My mom is washing dishes while my dad is sitting on the couch reading his newspaper. They already had dinner I think.

"Hey, mom. Hey, dad. I'm back," I said, sounding lifeless.

"I saved your dinner for you. Come here and eat some." My mom served me spaghetti.

"Thanks, mom. Can you both come here please." I picked up my fork, playing with my spaghetti.

"What's the matter, son?" My dad sat down in front of me, continue reading his newspaper.

"I've been thinking...maybe I could move to Los Angeles next week. Faster the better." I said softly, looking at my spaghetti.

"Why all of the sudden.." My dad put down his newspaper and stared at me, frowned.

"After months of consideration, I think I want to go there since there are more job opportunities. Plus I want to see the world outside." I smiled.
