Chapter 26

Ben POV

I woke up after a good night sleep. I haven't slept properly like this for a long time.

"You're awake?" A deep voice behind me.

"Yep." I whispered and turned over to face him.

"Morning babe." He smiled.

"Mornin" I pecked his nose.

"How's our little baby today?" He went into the blanket and gave my tummy a kiss.

"Our little Christopher is doing great."

"Christopher? As in the Christopher in Winnie the Pooh?" He grimaced.

"What? I liked that character since I was young. I had a lot of his merchandise at home." I nodded.

"What? I will kill that guy." He growled, hugging around my waist protectively.

"What? He's just a fictional character. Relax." I chuckled.

"It's been a while since I hear your chuckle." He looked at me.

"I'm sorry." I sighed.

"For what?" He frowned.

"For leaving you..." I bit my lower lip.

"Look Ben. I never blamed you for anything. I'm just glad you didn't run away from me again." He rested his forehead on mine.

"I'm really sorry..." I sobbed, grabbing his shirt.

"Don't cry now." He brushed his fingers against my wet cheeks.

I don't know how long I've been crying. I was tired of crying and I fell back asleep.

Andrew POV

"Granny! I'm going back now. Can you please take care of Ben for me?"

"Sure." She smiled. She reminds me of my late grandma.

I stepped out of the house and immediately saw a black car parked right in front of me.

"Is he here?" My dad stepped out of the car with Yolanda behind him.

"So what?" I growled.

"We need to talk for a while." He grinned.

"Five minutes is all I have." I frowned.

"I think I'll wait here." Yolanda said, staring at me.

"Okay Yolanda. Maybe you could also have a small chat with Ben." He smiled at her.

"I will Alpha." She gave an evil smirk.

"If you dare...to touch him. I, will kill you. You hear me?" I growled, pointing a finger at her.

She nodded frantically.

"Get in the car Andrew." My dad ordered.

I stared at Yolanda before I went into the car. I don't trust her...

"What do you want dad?" I took a sip of my cappuccino.

We went to a cafe quite far away from Ben's house. I hope he's not up to something otherwise I'm gonna kill whether he's my dad or not.

"Andrew, the pack has been harassing by rouges lately, I need you to come assist me. Come home with me, huh?"

"No. Not unless you accept Ben as my Luna." My face was expressionless.

"Is that boy worth your time? Does that boy worth it?" He clenched his jaws.

"Of course he does. He's my mate."

"He's NOT your mate!" He hit the table.

"Yes! I love him and I will love him forever. If you don't accept him then I'll never go back with you, I'll move to another country with him and my child."

"Wait what? Your child? He's pregnant?" My dad frowned.

"Yeah." I answered shortly.

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"Oh so now you're interested? Because of the baby?" I scoffed.

"Andrew... It's your heir, I couldn't possibly ignore it." He looked down.

"You're just worrying about me having heir. You thought Ben couldn't produce a child for me."

"I..." He sighed.

"You know what, we are going to live overseas. You can do whatever you want to your pack. I'm leaving." I stood up and left the cafe.

"Andrew! Andrew!" He shouted.

I felt my phone vibrating in my pocket. I fished it out and put it to my ear.

"Hello?" There's sobbing at the other side of the phone.

"Who is this?" There's only sobbing coming out from the phone.

"A-Andrew... I-I'm sorry... I-I didn't know h-he was pregnant." Yolanda sniffed.

"What did you do to him?!" I growled.

"I'm sorry..." Is all she said before hanging up.

"Fucking hell..." I broke into a sprint towards his house.

Yolanda POV

I didn't mean to do that....

I didn't mean to push him down...

I didn't know anything...

"Ben?! Ben!" Andrew burst the door open.

"I'm sorry...I don't know..." I just cried my eyes out.

"Ben! BEN! Stay with me Ben!" He found Ben lying at the end of the stairs, unconscious.

"I'm sorry..." I whispered.

"Shut the fuck up." Tears glistened in his eyes.

I bent down and wrapped my hands around my head. Guiltiness drowned me. I didn't know he was pregnant...

I didn't mean to push him down the stairs.

I'm sorry is all I could say now.
