Forgetting yesterday

I guess, I got what I wanted (Chapter six)

Chapter Six.

             I went through the day, until Lunch and all I could think about was how much of a mess I had made, I had broken Niall's heart and hurt him, and I had patched things up with Kate and Brody, only to ruin them once more. I am so pathetic. At lunch, I waited at my locker to see it Kate would come around but she didn't so I headed to the cafeteria to try and find Niall, nothing, even heartbreak, could come between that boy and his food. When I entered I saw Niall, Brody and Kate sitting at one of the tables, I walked towards them as quickly as possible. "If you've come here to cause more trouble and hurt more people, then just leave!" I had never heard Kate use that tone before, she always had such a gentle voice. "No, I came to apologise, I really am sorry, I dunno what came ov-" "Oh just shut it, you don't mean what you're saying, if you did you wouldn't be apologising right now, would you?" Kate said with anger. "I do mean it!" I moaned, "You know what, Leigh, you should go join the preps, cause you're just a self centered cow, like the rest of them, you don't care who you hurt, you don't want anyone but trouble himself, you're a narky, desperate bitch!" I was so hurt, Kate never seemed lie the type to say something like that. My eyes became a well of tears, "Y'know, you don't have to believe me Kate, but I really am Sorry and Niall, I never meant to hurt you, I just flipped, I'm so sick of people always trying to chose what's best for me in life, I didn't mean anything I said to you. You're a great guy, and you're humour is amazing, I'm so sick with myself for hurting you, I hope you'll forgive me." Niall couldn't even look at me, that was enough information given to realise I went too far.

             I fled out the door tears running down my face, I ran to the girls toilet before anymore people saw me cry. I wiped away the tears, I just wanted to go home. I took a deep breath and walked out the toilet door, to see Max opposite the door leaning against the wall, none of his friends were there with him, uh but I had just ruined three of the best friendships I could have had for him, they'd hate me even more if I spoke to him. I began to walk back up the hall when I heard Max speak, "Hey, come here a minute" I gasped, could he be talking to me? I turned "Me?" I questioned, "Yeah Leigh, come here." He knew me now, I walked towards him "Why did you act as if you didn't know me when I tried to talk to you?" I jumped straight to the point, nothing to hold me back, "it's the guy's I hang around with if they knew that I knew you as a child, they would touchier you, it's just what they do." It didn't make since to me, but I didn't question it either. "I saw you having an argument in the cafeteria with that Horan boy and his friends, what was that over?" he questioned me, "Oh it was nothing really, I just had a disagreement with them, nothing too big." I replied, knowing I was lying. "If they hurt you, I'll make them pay?" they did hurt me, but I hurt them just as much, "No really it's fine" he smirked with that same cheeky smirk he had as a child, "Will you do me a favour and meet me after school, I'll wait for you by the Gymnasium?" I couldn't deny how much I wanted to meet him there so I said "yeah, about half four?" he smiled and replied "Yeah that would be perfect" and we both headed to our classes.

            The clock struck four and the hall's filled with people, it was Friday so everyone was much happier in themselves, everyone except me and the people I hurt, I had half an hour to kill, so I had to just wait around, I paced back and forth waiting for time to pass, I spotted Niall walking up the, now, empty hall, "Niall" I shouted, he turned, but as soon as he realised it was me, turned away and walked out the door. I decided to go to the Gymnasium to wait for Max. 

              It was now 4.28 pm, Max would arrive soon so I checked my make-up in my pocket Mirror, I fixed my eyeliner and just as I perfected it I heard footsteps coming towards the gymnasium, Max turned the corner. "Sorry I'm late" he said, I giggled " Its only 4.32" I remarked. "You look beautiful" Max implied, I blushed, "Thank you." Max then questioned, "You're probably wondering why you're here?" I smiled and said "Yeah, actually I am." " I just wondered if you were single?" he asked, I gasped for air, could he be asking me out? "I a-am actually" "Oh well, that's interesting" his voice turning sexual, I giggled as he leaned in and kissed me, his hands lowered to my butt and he had a firm grip on my butt cheeks, once more I let out a giggle and as I did his tongue entered my mouth, we played tongue tag for awhile before he pulled away, "so you are interested?" he asked me, I could barley speak, so I just nodded, "and you will be my girl?" Oh boy, I think I am about to faint, "Oh ah. Y-yes." I couldn't breath, he was just what I needed to get over Danial correctly and now he was mine!
