Chapter 28 - Jarvis

What should I do? I'm a monster. A bloody fire-breathing monster. I don't even remember what happened. Everything went to red.
   I completely obliterated Aisha. I was supposed to be the hero, but instead I became the monster. I don't know what I was thinking. I was just heated and.... And.... I don't even know.
   I feel like I have felt this before, but I can't pinpoint an exact time. I mean, why would I be like this? Both my parents are human (as far as I know) and I've never been experimented on... At least I don't think so.
  What am I? What did I do? Hundreds of questions filled my mind. A hot tear slid down my cheek and fell to the ground. Setting the patch of grass where I was sitting on fire. But I didn't care, it couldn't hurt me.
  I feel awful for Aisha, I don't know why even did it. I've always been a peaceful man of science. But oddly I enjoyed it, I enjoyed burning Aisha...
  What is wrong with me?        
    I'm having thoughts I told myself I would never have. On one hand I'm terrified, but on the other I'm satisfied. I'm satisfied to know that I can stand up to all the bullies at my school who called me a nerd. Those who laughed as I bled from their beatings. But I can't feel satisfaction because of this. I swore off violence in the first place.
     I swore off violence  because I never wanted to be like them. I never wanted to be the one to pick on others just because I have the power to. That's just plain mean. The problem is that this is what I'm becoming.
     Tears started pouring down my face. My head rested between my knees, and my arms hugged  my legs as I sobbed. The world around me became blurred from tears as I sobbed.
    It was blazingly apparent that the others had left. I knew I would have to join them and keep moving on.
    Wiping the tears from my eyes I stood and tried to walk. My legs were heavy and my head pounded. Mysteriously all of the wounds Aisha had  inflicted upon me had already healed.
    I walked up the stairs to the door of the arena where I saw all the others leave. When I walked through I was met by a tall dark figure.
    "Black Panther?" I asked trying to hide the quiver of my voice.
   "Yes, and you must be Jarvis. You're the one who hacked our security system correct?" He asked waving for me to follow him. I let out a short giggle realized I probably shouldn't have laughed, as I had hacked his system, but I did...
   "Oh you think it's funny? You hacked into the world's most high-tech security system. If it wasn't my security system that had been hacked, I would be congratulating you right now."
   "Thank you, I think."
  "Well, although it was an incredible feat, I would appreciate to ask you if you would never do it again."
   "I hate to tell you but I can't promise anything. Working with this group has made me do things I never thought I would do." Controlling fire being one of them I thought to myself.
   "Well try your best." He chuckled. We turned  down a Corridor that led to a bunch of different rooms. It looks like the hallway of the hotel, but more African styled.
    "You will be staying in room 502. All of your equipment is in there. Here's your key." He said handing me the key.
    "Thank you." I said walking over to my room. When I was about to walk away I looked over and saw Malory and Sophia. They both have tears in their eyes. When I turned around the Black Panther was gone. 
   "Jarvis! Are you okay?" Sophia asked running up and hugging me. I remembered everything that had just happened. The pain and torment I had just felt. What they had just witnessed me do. What they had just witnessed me do. I  felt heat and saw red.
   "Ow!" I heard Sophia screaming as she jumped away for me. But my vision returned I saw Soffie's arm bright red, burnt.
   "No..." I muttered. I hurt someone else. This can't be happening. I ran. I ran to God knows where but I needed to get away. I ignored their screams for me to come back and kept running.
