Chapter Twenty Four

"What do you mean you guys are on your way? You were suppose to be here an hour ago!" I yelled, getting ready to throw my phone in frustration.

"Oh so now you want me to give you an explanation but you wouldn't let me give you one last night?" Jason countered back.

"Not the damn time Jason!" I snapped, "Your ass better be here in the next 15 minutes or I swear I will-"

"Rose it's Logan, Jason lied just to get you riled up. We're down the street, see you in a sec." He ended the call and I sucked in a deep breath trying to remain relaxed.

Don't let him get to you Rose. As soon as those idiots get here you can tell Dylan to bring Gigi and she'll see you're the best friend ever and all this shit will be over. Deep breaths.

I silently thank my self conscious for calming me down and head towards the living room. A lot of Gigi's family is here and as I said before there's a lot of food. Her nonna cooked up a storm, my lunch will be packed with leftovers for the next week.

I walked over in the kitchen and saw Chase trying to sneak a cookie from the platter. I snuck up behind him quietly like the super ninja I am and whispered closely in his ear,

"Bad boy, stealing cookies before dinner? Someone's going on santa's naughty list." I giggled as a pout formed on Chase's lips.

The door bell rang and I knew the person I dreaded to see was finally here. I slumped my shoulders and walked to the door following behind Chase.

"Stay strong kid." Chase teased while ruffling up my hair.

My hands quickly go up and smack Chase's then proceed to fix the mess he created.

"Getting cute for me?"

My glare was filled with hatred when I stared at Jason,

"Why the hell would I get cute for you? Are you suppose to be someone special?" My tone sounding exceedingly calm, I was surprise.

"Do you think I'm special?" He smirked. HE FREAKING SMIRKED.

My glare turned hard like cold stone and I was ready to smack the smirk off his face. Stupid asshole. I took a deep breath before answering,

"No I think you're a little piece of sh-"

"Okay... Moving on, shouldn't you tell Dylan were all here?" Logan cut me off.

"Yeah you're right." I huffed walking away but not before flipping Jason off.

"Aw she's so cute." I hear him tease as I leave the room.

I bring out my phone and ring Dylan, he answers on the second ring,

"Hey R what's up?"

"Everybody's here you can bring Gigi over now."

"Alright be there in 20."

"Bye."

I take a few breaths before deciding to go back to the boys. Get your game face on Rose it's time to shine.

I climb on my couch before giving my beautiful heartfelt speech, "Alright people, everybody listen up! I have summoned the birthday girl. I repeat I have summoned the birthday girl. I just want to thank everyone for all the cooperation and hard work we have put into this day, I couldn't have done it all without you. From the sweat, the cries, and blood we have literally gave it our all-"
