Chapter Seventeen

I walked into the living room with two big bowls of popcorn, hand in hand. I sat in between Dylan and Chase giving Jason and Logan the cold shoulder.

"Let's totally watch high school musical." Chase said imitating a girls voice. The boys laughed while the girls shared a similar smirk, "High school musical it is Chasey."

The boys let out a groan as I searched through Netflix for the movie.

"Way to go Chase."

"You just had to be a wise guy didn't you."

"Look guys I'm sorry!" Chase pleaded after getting hit with a pillow from Jason and Logan.

"Alright shut up the movie is starting." Gigi hushed.

"Feel free to sing along Chase." Naomi smirked.

Chase sent her what was suppose to be a glare but he's just so cute. It's like a little puppy trying to be intimidating. I laughed as I ruffled his hair, catching the attention of Logan and Jason.

"Psst. Dylan." I whispered in his ear.

"What." He whispered back, still facing the screen.

"What's up with those two?"

"Which two? Gotta be more specific R."

He's clearly playing games. You know now that I'm thinking about it I kinda like how he calls me R it's got a nice ring to it- Damn it Rose stay focus.

"Logan and Jason, you idiot." I nudged him playfully only pushing him closer to Gigi. I noticed Gigi blush at the close proximity she has with Dylan. How cute. Making my best friends's lives awkward, how may I be of service?

I was cut off from my silly thoughts when Dylan replied, "They're not thinking like themselves. They have to stay focus yet all they can think about is you."

Me? I glanced over at the boys catching them looking back at me. They both send me a warm smile, but all I could return was a frown. I am not gonna break up a bromance, no matter how hot they are.

"Coach said to fake right, break left
Watch out for the pick and keep ya eye on defense
You gotta run, give and go
Take the ball to the hole like a ol school pro-" Chase sang along but was interrupted by Jason's phone ringing.

I saw Jason tense up when he read the caller id and headed towards the stairs.

"Guys I'm cuter than Zac Efron?" Chase asked giving us a million dollar smile.

The girl laughed while Dylan and Logan just rolled their eyes.

"Sure Chasey, sure." I patted his shoulder and he smiled brightly.

Moments later Jason walks back in the living room looking pissed off. "We gotta go, Dylan stay and watch over the girls. Call me if anything happens." He ordered as he walked over to me and kissed my forehead.

"Where are you going?" I asked getting up. Logan and Chase got up immediately and stood right beside Jason. Their playful smirks and sexy smiles were completely gone. Instead they had confused cold blooded stares and clenched fist.

"What's going on?!" I yelled tired of being so confused, and tired of people leaving me.

Dylan came over and slung his arm over my shoulders and pulled me into his side. Jason stepped forward but Logan grabbed his shoulder giving him a knowing look. Jason nodded and stepped back.

"Call me if anything happens, understood?"

Dylan nodded as if that was enough. No it's damn sure not enough.
