You knew Christmas was coming up fast, but you weren't really in the Christmas mood because your boyfriend Calum was on tour with his band. On the morning of Christmas you dragged yourself out of bed to go drive to your parents house. 3 hours later when you could hear the Christmas music flowing out of the house and into your car, you knew you had found the right house. You walked up to the door, opened it and stopped dead in your tracks. There was Calum in the doorway.

"What are you doing here? You weren't supposed to be here until after Christmas." You said touching him to make sure he was real and not some figment of your imagination.

"Cal is that really you?" You asked tentatively holding out a hand. He took it and nodded causing you to scream out and hug him.

"You said you weren't going to make it this year." You pointed an accusing finger at him.

"I know but I wanted to surprise you." Cal said bringing you into his arms again. He casually looked up and gasped.

"Babe, look." He said excitedly pointing up like a child at the mistletoe.

"Oh seriously?" You giggled at his excitement.

"I put it there on propose. For the last hour I've been standing here asking if your family members was you and each time they would say no so I thought you weren't coming." He said. He had his arms wrapped around your waist and was bending at an awkward angle just to rest his head on your shoulder. You lifted his head off your shoulder so you could see his face.

"Y/N you're here finally. I was starting to think you weren't coming." Your mom said excitedly coming to hug you. Even though you had to let go of Cal he was still staring at you like you were his whole world. Your mother patted him on the shoulder before returning to her family in the other room. Cal pulled you back to his side. He leaned in and kissed you ignoring all your family's ohhs and awws. Throughout the entire party you stayed close to Cal and wouldn't let him go for the world because he was your whole would and you were his.
