"Your what? Spencer, how could you let this happen? Is that why Wren broke up with you? Is he to scared to take responsibility for fucking you up?" Toby turned around trying not to yell at her anymore.
"TOBY LOOK AT ME" Spencer yelled. When he turned she said "It isn't Wren's. It's yours." Spencer admitted.
"It's what? When did we.... Oh, god, Spencer, I'm so sorry. This is all my fault." He walked over and sat on the couch. He put his head in his hands looking down. "I'm sorry I put you through the yelling. I didn't know." Toby said ashamed.
Spencer sat down next to him. She rested her hand on his back. "Toby, it isn't your fault."
"Yes, it is. Spencer... I'm so sorry. I don't know what to say."
"I do. I love you." Spencer said. Toby leaned in and kissed her. "I love you too, Spence. So, what do you want to do now?"
"Can we please just forget about all of this, and watch a movie or something?" Spencer asked.
A half hour later Spencer was cuddled up to Toby watching 'The Notebook' Toby had his arm wrapped around Spencer's shoulder, Spencer's arm around his waist. As much as he tried to forget what she told him and watch the movie, he couldn't. Whenever he tried asking her about it, she would say "Shhh, this is my favorite part." Finally the movie ended. Toby got up to turn the tv off. When he looked back at Spencer, she had tears in her eyes. "Spence... honey... what's wrong?" Toby asked. He walked over to the couch, sat down, and wrapped his arm around her waist. She leaned into his shoulder letting the tears fall. Spencer then said "Every time I watch that movie, it always makes me teary eyed, and the hormones don't help."
Toby then said "Oh baby, please don't cry. How about this, let's go do something fun to get this out of our minds, okay? Are you in?"
Spencer smiled and replied "Yeah, of course." Toby handed Spencer a little pink bag with a ribbon on the front. "I want you to wear this, though." Toby said smiling.
"Okay." Spencer said. She opened it to look at what it was. It was a red sundress with a yellow lace lining. Toby left the room while Spencer changed into the outfit. When she was done Toby lead her out to his truck. "Where are we going, Toby?" Spencer asked.
Toby just smiled and said "You'll see." And with that, he started the truck and started driving. Spencer looked at him the whole way, instead of everything they were passing. He caught her stare, and grabbed her hand. Spencer knew that it really didn't matter where they were going. What mattered is that she had him.
