He opened the door to see his ex-girlfriend standing before him. "Spencer... What are you doing here?" he asked her. Since they had broken up, she had barely said a word to him, and now she was standing outside of his loft.
"Hey, can I come in?" Spencer asked. They had broken up when she dumped him for Wren. That had only been two weeks ago.
"What? I mean, yes of course" Toby replied wondering why she was there. With that Spencer walked into the loft. She sat down on the couch where she and Toby had shared so many kisses.
"Why are you here, Spencer?" Toby asked, still facing the door. "I don't want to play anymore of your games." He had tears in his eyes, threatening to spill over because he missed her so much.
"I needed to talk to you. It's kind of important. Will you please face me?" Spencer asked annoyed that he wouldn't look at her. When he turned around, she saw the tears in his eyes. "Toby..." She walked over to him, and cradled his face in her hands. He slowly leaned in, but retracted right away. Spencer took her hands away from his face, and looked into his eyes for a while. When he looked down at the floor ashamed, she grabbed his chin, and pressed her lips against his.
"Spencer... you have a boyfriend, and it's not me anymore, remember?" Toby said when he pulled away from her.
"Actually, that's what I wanted to talk to you about." Spencer replied, tears forming in her eyes. "Wren... well... he broke up with me."
"HE DID WHAT?!?!" Toby yelled surprised.
"Yeah, last night. You were the only person I could think of to come to. You are the only person I can really trust." She replied, and looked down like she was ashamed of herself.
"Spence...." Toby didn't know what to say. He stood there and looked at her for a while. She continued to look down. When she looked up, Toby saw that she was crying. She stared deep into his eyes, letting the tears fall. Toby grabbed her face in his hands and kissed her, hard. She let her body collapse into his, and she grabbed the waistline of his shirt, and carefully pushed it up his stomach. He looked at her. "Spence... we should wait to do this later. When we're sure that we love each other again."
"Yeah, you're right." Spencer replied.
"Now, what did you want to tell me?" Toby asked still not knowing what the main reason was that Spencer came. He knew she wouldn't come just because Wren broke up with her.
"I... uh, how do I say this? I.... Toby I....." Spencer didn't know how to start.
"You what Spence? What is it?" Toby asked confused.
