When they got back to the truck to journey back to Toby's loft Spencer only had one question in her mind. "Toby, can I ask you something?" Spencer asked.
"Of course. Anything you need, baby, I'll answer." Toby replied.
"How did you have this beautiful engagement ring for me when we only got back together today?" She asked Toby wonderingly.
"Well, you see, the thing is I had this day in mind, but before we broke up. I had the ring, and the day you broke up with me was the day I was going to take you to the fair to propose, but that didn't go very well." Toby responded answering her question perfectly.
"Toby, I'm so sorry." Spencer didn't know what else to say. Her eyes filled with tears, and some rolled down her cheeks. When they got home Spencer said that it was late and they should get some sleep. She decided to stay at Toby's, but of course hadn't broughten any clothes to wear, so Toby had to give her one of his shirts. Toby knew Spencer, so he gave her the shortest shirt of his possible. She smiled at him as she changed into the baby blue t-shirt. After both of them had changed, they crawled into bed to cuddle a little bit before sleeping. Toby placed his hand over Spencer's stomach, right where the baby was. He slid down farther in the bed so his mouth was by her stomach. He ever so softly started to coo to the baby. All Spencer could do was laugh.
"Toby, can I ask you something?" Spencer asked.
"Of course, anything you need, it's yours." Toby replied.
"Did you propose to me today because of the baby?" She asked while playing with the beautiful engagement ring on her finger.
"God, Spence, no. I proposed because you mean the world to me, and I can't lose you, again. I love you, and I know I am going to love this baby just as much." Toby replied cooing to the baby again.
"I love you too, Toby." Spencer replied. With that, they cuddled into the bed and fell asleep.
At one point during the night, Spencer woke up. Toby was laying on his stomach with his arm thrown across Spencer. She smiled knowing that she would always be safe with him. She thought about their lives for a while. She had everything she had ever dreamed, well almost everything. Tomorrow she was going to ask Toby if she could move in with him, and go to college online after this year of highschool was done. She just loved him so much. With that, she fell back into a deep sleep.
