"Mia Grace." I looked up from the book I was reading to be met with Oliver's eyes staring into mine.

"Yes, Oliver." I said as I admired the way his messy locks of hair lay on his forehead, almost reaching his eyelids. We were laying on his bed and simultaneously reading the same book. Somehow we had managed to find two copies of 'Just One Day' by Gayle Forman in his dad's collection and although I had read it before, Oliver hadn't and he'd decided we should read it together.

"What do you think about Allyson running away to Paris with Willem?" he asked, wearing a small smile on his lips.

"Wait, how are you up to that part already?" I suspiciously asked.

"I'm just a super fast reader." he said, smirking.

"You skipped all of the beginning didn't you?"

"What? No, how could you ever think that? I'm truly hurt that you would ever assume that, Mia Grace." he said, trying to sound serious, but seriously failing as a smile appeared on his lips and laughter threatened to escape his mouth.

"Considering I'm only up to them meeting, I think my assumptions are pretty true."

"Well, maybe you're just a really slow reader." he smirked.

"Oh that's it. You're getting it." I kneeled on the bed and tickled him until he was crying from laughter. I thought things were going well until he regained strength and pinned me down on the bed. His lips were merely centimeters away from mine and our noses were barely touching. His bright green eyes stared into mine, a million unreadable emotions flashing through them. My heart beat a million times faster as I thought of what would happen if I leaned in the slightest bit and caused our lips to meet once and for all. But, before my dreams could come true a smile appeared on his lips and he tickled me until I couldn't laugh any longer.

"Okay I surrender!" I yelled, in hopes that the torture would stop.

"What are the magic words?"

"What magic words? You never told me the magic words!"

"Hm, let me think. Say, 'I think Oliver is the hottest guy ever!' and I'll stop." my cheeks flushed as he said this. Mostly because it was true. I do think Oliver is the hottest guy ever, but I wasn't about to admit it. I shook my head hoping he would stop putting me through this torture.

"Then I'm sorry, but I can't stop." he said, as he smiled and intensified the tickling.

"Okay, okay fine! I think Oliver is the hottest guy ever! There I said it." I said, not being able to handle the torture anymore.

"Wow, Mia I didn't know you felt that way about me." Oliver said as he finally stopped tickling me.

"Oh come on you told me to say that. You can't hold that against me!" I said as I failed at stopping a blush from creeping onto my cheeks. I've been blushing so much when I'm around Oliver that I wouldn't be surprised if I was left with a permanent blush on my face.

"We'll see about that. But, where should we wander to today?" he asked with a smirk on his face.

"Hm, I'm not sure. Do you have any other secret hideaways you'd like to show me?"

"No, but, we could find one of our own. Come on follow me." I followed him out of his house and into his dad's car. We drove out of the collection of houses lined up by the lake and into the town near by.

"Left or right?" he asked as we drove through a street full of small stores lit up by lamp posts.

"Um, I say left." Oliver took a sharp left turn and we were met by a neighborhood full of small houses. We continued to take random turns until we made it to a opening with a small hill in the center. The opening was completely dark apart from the light shining from the lamp posts and the moon.

"I think we found out secret hideaway." I said smiling at him.

"I think we did too. Come on let's go explore." he said as he got out of the car and ran over to my side to open my door for me. It was the little things he did which made me swoon over him.

"I'll race you to the top!" I said as I stepped out of the car and started running to the hill, already getting a head start.

"That's not fair! I'll catch up to you!" Oliver yelled as he ran behind me. I truly thought I would beat him until I felt a pair of familiar arms wrap around my waist and lift me into the air. Before I knew it I was being put down at the top of the hill.

"Told you I'd catch up." Oliver said, giving an award winning smile. I smiled back and looked at the scenery behind him. You could see the field below and a couple of stars peeked through the cloudy sky. It looked exactly like the hill we had met on, except this one wasn't crowded with people and their cameras.

"Woah. If it wasn't so cloudy we'd be able to see all the stars from up here." he said as he turned around and admired the scenery.

"We'll come back to stargaze another time." I smiled. As we admired the scenery, I started to feel droplets of water on my skin.

"Did you just feel that?" I asked Oliver.

"Feel what?" As soon as he said that rain started pouring from the sky.

"Now I feel it." he said laughing as he got drenched in rain.

"May I have this dance?" Oliver asked, as he offered me his hand and stared into my eyes.

"Of course." I smiled and took a hold of his hand. He pulled me closer and lay one hand on my waist, the other still holding onto my hand. I lay my other hand on his shoulder and we started to dance as if it was the normal thing to do. We danced not to music, but to the rhythm from the beating of our hearts. Oliver let go of my waist and spun me around, causing me to almost slip and fall onto the muddy grass. He caught me by the waist just in time and held me as we stared into each others eyes. My heart was pounding more than ever; I swear he could hear it.

"I-I think I like you, and it's hard for me to admit this because I haven't been this happy in so long, but you make me happy. I know I don't deserve to be happy, but I am and it's all because of you." he said as he held me in his arms. His words made my heart stop and butterflies erupt in my stomach.

"Oliver, I like you too and you make me happy. Happier than I ever thought I could be. You are a beautiful chaos and you deserve to be happy." I smiled as I got lost in his eyes and intertwined my fingers into his. And although it was dark and cloudy and rainy, the day couldn't have felt any brighter.
