I can't believe how irrational Asher was being! I finally agree to be an official couple and somehow he thinks he can tell me who I can and can't talk to. He is sadly mistaken if he thinks I will let him tell me what to do. Dylan is harmless! If anything, I would more likely kick his ass than kiss him so Asher has nothing to worry about... Then again, Asher's last relationship ended with him being cheated on, so he must have that concern constantly running through his mind.

Quickly, I dialed Asher's number and waited for him to pick up.

"What is it? What did he do? I'll kill him. Scar, what happened?" Asher was immediately in attack dog mode when he answered.

I chuckled, "Asher, I'm not even there yet. I just wanted to call and apologize for being so defensive. I know your last girlfriend cheated on you, and I just want to let you know that I have absolutely no intentions of cheating on you ever! I wasn't sure if maybe that was a reason you didn't want me going to see Dylan, but if it was I wanted to make sure that was clear."

"It was definitely a thought, but I was trying not to let it consume me."

"You never even need to have that worry. That's just unnecessary weight on your shoulders because I will never cheat on you. Especially not with Dylan," I laughed at the thought of doing anything romantic with Dylan.

"I'm really glad you called me, Scar."

"Me too, now I don't feel quite so guilty going to chat with him."

"Please just be careful."

"I will."

"See you at home, babe. I lo- I uh...I'll see you at home, bye." I barely got my goodbye in before he ended the call. I think he almost said 'I love you' but I could be wrong...

"I'm surprised you actually showed," Dylan said as I walked up to the coffee shop he told me to meet him at.

"You sparked my curiosity. So let's just get this over with." We walked into the coffee shop. I greeted the barista, Jack who I had met on the first day of school when I came here. Again we were the only people in the coffee shop. Monday's must be really slow days. Once Dylan and I had our drinks we sat across from each other in one of the booths. I could tell that Jack was keeping a close eye on our conversation.

"So you and Asher are actually dating now?" he asked.

"Yes. I guess word travels fast because it was just made official this morning."

"I overheard CJ talking about it in chemistry. And so did Jane..." he cautiously mentioned her name.

"So you and Jane are speaking again?"

"Kind of. She seems to have forgiven me, even though I didn't do anything. But she most definitely has not forgiven you. She has an obsession with revenge, and her target is right on your back, Scar. She told me about her visit to Asher's house Saturday, and she told me about what happened with you. Then she proceeded to tell me that she plans to ruin you and your relationship with Asher. Not long after that, her and CJ left the room with different excuses and didn't come back for twenty minutes. Either they were in the custodial closet getting it on, or they were planning something together. CJ seemed rather peeved about you and Asher being together too."
