The pendent resting on my collarbone rose as he carefully inspected it, looking at the edges of the tiny metal cross resting in between his fingers. I couldn't take my eyes off of his own, staring at the tiny trinket with such curiosity.
'Who gave you this necklace?' Going off course, I struggled to hold still in his grasp.
'My mother.' Simply, I responded and he slowly nodded in acknowledgment, flickering his gaze back up. I couldn't hold it for two long, taking great interest in the stitches on the hemline of my shirt.
'You're scared of me,' he had stated. It was almost as if it was the most obvious thing written on my face, although I tried to contain my fear in as best as I could.
Shaking my head, he laughed again, the lazy sort while the effects of his nap hadn't gone away fully yet. I was well aware that he was trying to irritate me in the easiest way possible, but I wasn't frightened by him. I was only scared of his potential.
'Why do you feel the need to lie to me? I can feel you trembling, goosebumps are even rising on your skin. You really are a bad liar, Ji-U.' He continued to chuckle, slid off the desk and turned us around. My back then had been in the spot he was previously, a mischievous grin on his lips.
I was momentarily distracted by what his intentions were exactly until he sat me on top and kissed me once more, moving to the corners of my lips and down my throat. The willpower holding my emotions in check was disintegrating quickly with every quaking second.
'I heard you call out his name, in your sleep.' Murmuring around the skin of my jaw, I immediately opened my eyes.
"'Jimin, Jimin-ah!-' What a pity, I was beginning to think that you just weren't interested in men at all. But now, I know for sure that you've got someone else on your mind."
The sharp ridge of his fang drew across my delicate skin but never breaking it completely.
'That was you last night, wasn't it?'
Perhaps my expression was easily readable, from my twisted expressions to the frown working its way on my lips. I had concluded that I was only going to tell if he had questioned. Now was one of those times.
'I don't care if you go off with anyone else, it really isn't any of my concern. All I need to know is that you'll provide me with what I want by the end of the day.'
Using one hand, he swiftly pushed me back onto the metal table. I widened my eyes in astonishment, looking up at his cold facial expression.
As he lowered himself, I flinched away from his mouth, trying to avoid contact as much as possible.
'Why don't we play a game of hide-and-seek?' Opening one eye, I gave him a look of disbelief.
'H-hide-and-seek?'
Nodding his head and grinning like a child, he turned around and called for Jungkook in a loud, authoritative voice.
Several seconds of silence had gone by until I heard the door to his room creak open slightly. HIs eyes flickered back and forth between the two of us before he cleared his throat politely.
'SIr?'
'Let's show Ji-U how we play hide-and-seek in our manor.' Laughing, Taehyung turned around and began to count, covering his eyes quickly. Still dazed from what had happened earlier, I stumbled off the table, chasing after Jungkook down the hallway.
We stepped down the stairs without making too much of a ruckus and I strayed until he grabbed for my wrist.
'What are you doing? We'll both be caught if we stick tog-'
'23-24-25...' The counting could be heard from upstairs as he continued to shout out the numbers.
'I know a really good hiding spot, he'll never find us.' Tugging on my arm, Jungkook ran to the glass door leading to the backyard.
Large clouds loomed ahead, covering up any bright and sunny spots. We tread lightly across the lush grass, never slowing or picking up the pace. Large pine trees lined the perimeters of the endless forested land.
Instead of continuing straight for the woods, we turned to the side of the house that bore a tiny stone pathway. Broken pieces of tile and bricks piled high, surrounding a tiny little shack constructed entirely of wood. It had been a few inches taller than Jungkook, but the space was relatively small.
He swung the door open and shoved me inside, closing the door behind us. The only source of light in the cramped hut, was a window facing on the back wall, only double paned.
'He never finds you out here? Aren't we supposed to stay inside the house?'
'Who ever said I played by the rules?' Leaning against one of the side walls, he stared outside the window.
'Ji-U, I need to apologize, for last time...' His words trailed off uncomfortably, leaving me feeling strangely towards the entire matter.
'What does it matter if I accept your apology and we become friends again? I'm not supposed to mess with anyone else in the house anyways.' Sniffing, I crossed my arms and inspected the roofing.
'You don't really love Taehyung.'
'Who cares? I'm here because of him, not you.'
Coming closer in one stride, he was in front of me and suddenly my thoughts had been poisoned again.
He used both hands to tug my shirt up to my stomach, pushing my back against one of the wooden walls. His lips attacked the corner of my mouth, my jaw, and down my throat.
In a heavy voice, he brought his mouth to the shell of my ear, causing me to shudder out of contact.
'Why not have a little fun while you're already here?'
