'Jungkook! Ji-U!'
We froze immediately, giving each other a stare with wide eyes before scrambling to throw our articles of clothing at each other.
'Where the hell did they go?' The voice belonged to Minji while the rest of the household members gave different answers.
'They're back so early. What's the cover story?' I looked up at him expectantly as I secured the tiny watch around my wrist. Footsteps came closer and closer to the tiny sheltered shack and the door was opened before Jungkook could give me any sort of reply.
We were met with Jin's questioning eyes, searching and looking into the cramped space we had managed to squeeze ourselves into. I opened my mouth to speak, but Jungkook had already been one step ahead.
He brought a finger to his lips, signifying for Jin to be quiet before he peeked through the opened door.
'Is Taehyung out there? We're supposed to be hiding from him.'
'Taehyung was gone when we came back. Probably had to take care of something. You guys should come out, everyone is worrying about you.'
Slowly, the both of us stood and I clambered out into the fresh air, trying my best to cover the open wound on my inner thigh. The blood began to seep through my shorts, but I figured that I could take care of it soon enough.
'I found them.' Using one hand to gesture to the both of us, Jin shook his head and walked towards the back door, leaving us prone to interrogation by the others.
Minji gawked silently in the back, staring at my own clothing. I suddenly became conscious of her line of sight and swiped at the trickling blood running down my leg.
'Go inside.' Jungkook turned slightly to me, muttering through gritted teeth. I took that as my cue and ran quickly inside, shutting the door behind me.

Evening fell quickly but there was no storm or heavy shower that accompanied it. Instead, the sky was filled with stars and the slight breeze ran throughout the corridor from the opened windows.
Sandwiched between Hoseok and Jimin at the dinner table, I was glad that Jungkook was as far away from me as possible. Taehyung still hadn't returned from his 'errand', leaving the rest of us to dine without him.
Without lifting her gaze, Minji spoke quietly to inform everyone seated of where the missing Yoongi was.
'He wouldn't stop sneezing on the way back, so I isolated him in his room. If you don't want to catch whatever virus he's picked up, I suggest you not enter until he's overcome the illness.'
Lifting up the butter knife in her hand, she pointed it towards me.
'Ji-U, go take his meal up to his room. The medicine bottle and tray will be on the counter.'
I stood clumsily and left the room swiftly, heading over to the dimly lit kitchen. Pots and pans were scattered around the countertops messily.
Sighing, I took hold of the handles on the tray and steadily walked back to the entrance. The talking soon came to a halt while everyone eyed my bumbling figure walk towards the stairwell.
The glass of water and bottle of pills jingles slightly as I carried the tray up each step slowly with caution. A small bowl filled with an unidentifiable slid to the right in small increments.
As soon as I got up to the landing, I took in a deep breath and continued on my way once more. The dark hallway hadn't helped much to guide me to the correct door. Squinting, I tried to distinguish Yoongi's door from Minji's, as they had been placed right next to each other.
The breeze picked up as I struggled to carry the heavy tray with one arm and attempt to grasp the door's handle with the other. Praying that nothing would fall, I carefully twisted the knob and swung the door open.
All of the lights had been out inside of the room as well, the only source had been streaming in from the opened window. The curtains were attached to both sides of the wall, neat and out of the way of the wind. My eyes adjusted to the darkened room as I took in some of the visible furniture.
A large fur rug was placed on the floor, in front of a large king sized bed. Tiny posters of various music groups were pinned on each corner of the wall along with what appeared to be colored belts in one corner. One wooden dresser was used as a night stand with a modern, thin lamp casting a soft glow on the ruffled bed sheets.
The bed was empty.
Walking over to the dresser, I placed the tray filled with food on dresser. My eyes scanned the scene, trying to see exactly where he had gone.
Slight shuffling drew my attention to the window as the shape sitting on the window sill threw their legs over the edge, leaning back on their arms and balancing on the sill. A window bed was barely beneath their hands.
'Yoo-'
'You didn't knock.' Without turning his head to look at me, his hoarse voice spoke out above the wind, leaving me dumbfounded.
'I brought your dinner...and some medicine.'
He merely sighed in response, leaning his head against the side of the window frame. Bravely, I walked over to where he had been sitting and sat next to him, copying him with my legs hanging over the edge.
The scenery scene from the top story was breathtaking; the forest beyond the yard had been a stark contrast against the midnight blue sky. Millions and billions of twinkling stars could be seen, with only a few clouds marring their bright glow. Hoo's and other sounds emitted from the forest had been quite calming to the ear, washing over like a needed sleep.
'Do you do this every night?' I found my voice in the quiet atmosphere.
'I worry about you every night.' Taking another deep breath, he continued.
'Taehyung or Jungkook could possible be too rough with you and suddenly, there won't be a Ji-U anymore. Life had been so bleak, so boring without someone else to question our authority. To question our motives.'
Silenced by his answer, he took that opportunity to grab my hand in his own, softly running his fingers lightly over my knuckles.
'Ji-U, there's a reason why Jimin and Jungkook are acting as if they're remotely in love with you. They want their own heir to continue on the bloodline. They're selfish cowards.'
Taking the moment to let out a cough, hot tears began to form in my eyes, almost as if his rough words had triggered something I had been guessing for so long to be true.
I turned my head and was met with his pleading gaze, unable to rip myself away from it.
'Ji-U, run away with me.'
