Hazel saves Jason's life and dies. In memory of Hazel Levesque, he names his daughter, Hazel Grace. He writes a true story about his daughter and how she meets a boy named Augustus Waters. He uses his pen name, John Green (courtesy of Bacchus) and writes the famous book, The Fault In Our Stars.
