"So, tell me again why I'm going shopping with you," Kevin stated as he and Mitch walked side-by-side into the colossal mall.

Mitch sighed dramatically, "Scott's catching up with Alex, Kirstie had to take Olaf to the vet or something, and Avi was busy. So, tag you're it," he explained before smiling as Kevin rolled his eyes at the last comment.

"How long is this gonna take?" Kevin inquired.

Mitch shrugged in return, "Why are you being so salty?"

"I'm not being salty, I just don't like malls when it's this close to Christmas," he informed him.

The shorter man scoffed, "You'll be fine," he assured him.

Kevin sighed in defeat, and tried to at least pretend like he wanted to be there.

He didn't bother to try and remember the obscure names of each clothing store that his bandmate dragged him into.

He felt bad for seeming so uninterested, but shopping just wasn't his thing. But, as long as he was helping his friend, he was okay with it.

"Which pair looked better?" Mitch questioned as he emerged from the dressing room, wearing a stunning pair of jeans.

Kevin gaped at him slightly, unable to remember what the first pair looked like.

"Um, I like those ones," he tried.

Mitch gave him an annoyed look, "Kevin," he whined.

Kevin chuckled, "I'm sorry. I'll pay attention this time," he promised.

Mitch rolled his eyes before disappearing back into the dressing room. He returned a few moments later with the first pair.

Kevin's eyebrows knitted together. They looked nearly identical.

"Are those the same jeans?" He asked, cluelessly.

The younger man rolled his eyes for what seemed like the 100th time that day. "No, Stupid. They are clearly different," he assured him, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.

"I like the second ones better," Kevin muttered.

Mitch pondered it for a moment and shook his head, before looking down at his legs, "I think I like these ones better."

Kevin shrugged, "Then get those ones," he replied.

"But I really liked the second ones too," Mitch murmured to himself.

Kevin stifled a groan, "Then get both," he blurted out.

A bright smile formed on Mitch's face, "You, my friend, are a genius," he informed him, before disappearing back into the dressing room.

Kevin focused on his phone while he waited for Mitch to show him something else.

"Come on Kev, you need something," Mitch declared as he walked past him over towards some stylish looking jackets.

Kevin sighed in defeat, and followed him over to the jacket racks, surveying the options.

"What do you like?" Mitch quizzed.

Kevin sighed as he looked over everything again, "Uh...I don't know. I like leather," he stated with a shrug.

Mitch smirked, "You kinky bastard," he quipped.

Kevin gaped at him, as if he had just slaughtered everyone in the store. "Mitch," he chided before laughing.

"Yes, Daddy?" Mitch replied playfully, before snickering as Kevin continued to look appalled.

"You're something else," Kevin informed him, shaking his head.

They scanned the items in silence, before Kevin found a long, simple, black leather jacket. "I like this, kind of," he noted.

Mitch glanced up at him, "Slip it on and see how it fits," he instructed, and Kevin did so, nodding in the process. "Ooh, Alyssa better be cautious, you're gonna be swarmed," he taunted.

Kevin rolled his eyes playfully, "Sure," he muttered before slipping the jacket off.

"Uh-uh, girl. Don't take it off yet. Go over to the mirror and see how it looks," Mitch ordered, before heading over to mirror, prompting him to follow.

Kevin chuckled before following, and looking himself over in the mirror.

"Yes, w*rk!" Mitch exclaimed before laughing.

Kevin laughed along with him before smiling at his reflection, "I love it," he assured him, before slipping it off.

"Good. Let's go checkout," Mitch declared.

"Okay. Can we go home after that?" Kevin whined as he followed.

Mitch chuckled, "Oh no honty, the fun has only just begun."
