I awoke to bright hospital lights. I groaned as my head was pounding. The window was open and it made the lace curtains flutter. I tried to remember why I was here, but all I wanted was sleep. I turned to see on the tile: a feather. I gasped as I remembered why I was here.

"Chase!"

"Not really."

I snapped awake to find the angelic boy of my dreams smirk. He made my heart flutter, but yet again something was off about him. Black wings unfurled from his back. The light from the window cast purple hues against the soft looking feathers. He had piercing silver eyes that put me into a stupor. He had raven hair that looked soft and it fell perfectly on his face. All I could do was stare. There was definitely nobody like him, especially not with those wings.

"Done staring?"

"W-who are you?"

"I told you, temptation."

"What does that mean?"

"You ask a lot of questions."

"Fine, what may I call you?"

"Tariq, it means night visitor."

"Ironic, it's morning."

"I'd like to visit you at night."

I sat there blubbering like a fool. Feeling my cheeks go red, I decided to wash my face in the sink. All I could focus on was the water, but I couldn't ignore him. I patted my face dry and as soon as I turned around he ran a hand across my cheek. I gasped and was cornered against the wall. I felt like a mouse and he was the cat that was toying with me. A smile danced across his lips; he knew what he was doing. Soft, black feathers rubbed against my arm.

"Are you an angel?"

"Far from it actually."

"Can you stop being so condescending?"

"You didn't ask a a question this time!"

"Yeah, well, you won't answer them."

"I am temptation my dear."

"What does that mean!"

"There's the questions!"

"Ugh!"

"Would you rather me be silent."

"What."

"Do you miss my lips on yours?"

"I miss my boyfriend."

"Ah yes, Chase."

"What happened to him."

"You must find it out."

"How Tariq."

"Let us make a deal."
