Early the next morning Matthew sat at the desk of letters that was no longer a mountain but instead a neat organized file. He had finished with all except three letter and was starting to get a bit tired. However he stubbornly pushed threw the last three letters. The first was a confirmation letter from a night sent out to a peace council in Lithuania and Poland. The second was a bill that a noble was trying to pass. Matthew rolled his eyes and quickly wrote back to the two thanking the knight and denying the bill. He then got to the last letter. However it was addressed to prince's Lovino and Feliciano.

"From King Roma?" He said curiously.

He then placed the letter in his pocket and headed to find the twins.

Feliciano played in a patch of flower while Ludwig watched over him. Just behind him Antonio chased Lovino around in an effort to play tag with him. Ludwig glance over at the two ruffians and saw a slight figure walking to them from around the castle. He looked closer and saw golden locks. Ludwig waved as if to signal where they were. The figure paused and then started to jog up to them. He quickly saw, as the figure grew near that it belonged to the young Matthew Williams.

Ludwig war slightly caught off guard when something fell on his head. He looked up to see flower petals dangling in his face.

"Oooooh Ludi looks pretty." Feliciano said happily.

Ludwig sighed and stood up scruffing feliciano's hair. He looked back to where Lovino was now following Matthew towards them. Ludwig and Feli headed down meeting half way.

"Feli, I have a letter for you and Lovino!" Matthew said holding it out.

Feliciano held out his hand and Mathew placed the letter in his hand.

"It's from King Roma." Ludwig read.

Feliciano passed the letter on to Ludwig and the tall German begun to open it.

"I suspect you want me to read this?" Ludwig asked.

"It would be niiiiice." Feli said teeth bared in a smile.

Ludwig rolled his eyes and took the letter out. He unfolded it and begun to read out loud.

"To my cutest little grandsons. I have been thinking over the situation of who will be king and have come up with a grand solution."

Ludwig paused astonished and saw the excited eyes of the twins Antonio and even Matthew. So he read on.

"I have decided to have you both rule. This will be able to happen if feliciano rules northern Italy while Lovino rules southern Italy. I will be waiting for you at home, hope you like my idea." Ludwig looked up at the boys.

"Woooooah." Feliciano said bewildered.

"This could really work." Antonio said.

"But we'll be separated..." Feliciano worried.

"Good, saves me from you." Lovino crossed his arms.

Feliciano jumped onto his brother hugging.

"Loviiiiii." He cried.

"Get a hold of yourself brat, we can always visit each other." Lovino sighed.

Feliciano looked up with Pitiful eyes.

"Reeeeeally??" He asked.

"Yes you moron." He sighed.

"This is pretty cool." Antonio said.

"Does this mean we should go home?" Feliciano asked.

They all looked at each other then looked to Matthew.

"It's a family emergency, I think you should talk with King Roma about it." Matthew said. "But make sure to go say goodbye to Gil or he might get a bit upset." He warned.

"Where is he anyways?" Antonio asked.

"Sleeping, he's exhausted." Matthew backed the Prussian up.

"It's still early, we can wait till he wakes up." Ludwig sighed.

The snowy haired king slept absolutely silent. Usually he would be sprawled amongst the sheets or at least snoring. But now he looked like a fragile china doll as he slept in a death like sleep. Matthew walked in very quietly being absolutely unheard and looked down at his love. He crouched down resting against the bedside watching the tired King sleep. He was worried for the busy man. But he always was. He lay his head on the cushion and was startled when stricken red eyes widened.

"Mattie?" Gil grumbled tiredly.

"Gil, you should rest." Matthew pushed.

"What? How come?" Gil said barely making proper sentences.

"Cause you're tired."

"Where s Ludi and the rest?" Gilbert ignored.

"Waiting for you but-"

"Waiting?! Okay give me a sec."

He rolled over leaping off
The bed before tripping over a night stand. He quickly recovered and headed to the closet.

"Gil, Gil wait." Matthew shook.

"For what?" Gil asked. "Come on Mattie we gotta start the day."

"But we won't have the whole day."

"Why? Is it noon?!" He panicked.

"N-no.... Gil Ludi and them are all...."

"Yeah, waiting, you said that."

"N-NO. Gil will you please LISTEN." Matthew yelled frustrated.

"Mattie?"

"Ludwig is leaving, today, they have to go back and take care of matters." Matthew finally put out.

Gilbert stopped and looked back at Matthew. "He's leaving?....... Is he gone now?" He asked sadly.

"No, he's waiting to say good bye." Matthew explained.

"Well then stop distracting me! Let's go!"

The king quickly put on what he could find before dragging Matthew out of the room with him.
