Gilbert flipped through a stack of letters annoyed and frustrated at all the reading. He bashed his head against his desk and moaned aggressively.

"I can't read all of this, I'll be an old wrinkly king by then." He paused and lay his cheek on the desk. "A sexy wrinkly king." He grinned.

The door creaked open and he looked up to Matthew who peered around the corner. His dirty blond hair was tied back and he wore a very nice blue and violet garments with a fine silvery vest.

"Your highness, what on earth are you doing?" He asked.

"The letters that got stuck at the boarder came in." Gilbert groaned not lifting his head.

"This isn't the time to be looking through those! The village people are waiting outside!"

Matthew walked towards Gilbert softly and pulled him up right.

"Awe, Gil." He said disappointed. "You have a red mark on your forehead."

Gilbert grabbed Mattie's hips and sat him on his lap.

"Fuss fuss." Gilbert laughed. "You say my public awaits?"

"Yes, they've been out there a while now."

Gilbert stood up carrying Matthew with him.

"Then I mustn't waste another minute!" Gil placed Matthew in the chair. "You'll read these for me won't you?"

"What? No I will no-"

Gilbert kissed Matthew swiftly and turned running for the door.

"Thanks Mattie!" He called before running off.

Matthew sighed defeated by the pain that had run off. He looked at the pile of letters and brushed his fingers over them looking threw them.

"How could there be so many?" He asked himself.

He started to sort the letters into piles and doing as the King had requested.

(A few hours later)

Gilbert waved his hand as he said good bye to the villagers who cheered at him excitedly.

"Well done sire." A short man with a round belly commented. "The people sure are fond of you."

"Why shouldn't they be? I'm the greatest king they will ever have!" Gilbert said removing his red cloak.

He threw the large heavy thing at the man and let out a long breath.

"Get rid of that will yah? I gotta go finish reading those letters."

"Of course sir." The man said scurrying away.

Gilbert stretched his arms up and rested them behind his head.

"I hope Mattie's almost done." He sighed.

As if the boy had heard his name, Matthew appeared around the corner and raced up to Gilbert.

"Gil! You have to come see this!" He yelled.

"What?"

"Just come on!"

Matthew grabbed the kings hand and began rushing him down the hall. They ran together to the room with the desk full of letters. Matthew grabbed two handfuls and showed them to Gil.

"2 from Roderick and 7 from Roma. But they all say the same thing!" Matthew said.

Gil looked down at the first one from king Roma and his eyes widened.

"My brother?"
