Matthew swiftly packed a bag of his and Gilbert's clothes as Gil threw them onto the bed. Now that Gilbert knew his brother was found he was going straight to him.

"Your highness! You can't just get up and go right now." The chubby man from before yelped.

"Oh yes I can Sven, my baby brother is alive and I'm going to bring him back here." Gilbert said still tossing the clothes.

"But your highness the letters said it might be your brother. Isn't it a bit risky to drop the thrown on a might?!"

"It will be all right." Matthew said. "Gilbert's father said he would watch things while we were away, and if it is only a might then we will be home before you can say apple pie." Mattie looked up at Sven. "If it were your brother wouldn't you do the same?"

"No, my brother is a drunk and a Baffoon." Sven protested.

"Well my brother isn't, and you aren't stopping me from finding him." Gilbert said with a serious glare.

Matthew stood by his side and touched his chest softly. Gilbert looked down with almost puppy like eyes and Matthew looked back at Sven.

"Sven. We are going, and that is all, you would do wise to heed your kings words. Now please leave us." Matthew said softly.

Sven's eyes pricked and he only bowed before slowly walking away. Matthew looked up to Gilbert who still seemed stubborn and angry.

"Gil.."

"How dare he. Think I wouldn't go after my brother. My fathers not dead he can take care of things just fine." Gilbert heaved.

"Im sure he was just worried." Matthew tried to reassure.

Gilbert looked down at Matthew and held his hands.

"Are you sure you want to go to?"

"Of course!" Matthew said eagerly. "I've been wanting to meet your brother for a long time!"

Gilbert smiled and picked Mattie up swinging him into the air.

"How did I end up with such a cutie."

"Well... Obviously, you didn't read the prince'a tutor." Matthew explained.

"..... What?" Gil said confused.

"I don't know? Just go get the carriage ready I'll finish packing." Matthew shooed.

Gilbert took the other male in his arms and bent him back a bit before giving him a huge long kiss. The kiss was so long that Mathew started to laugh as he tried to get away for air.

"Gil." He giggled trying to move his face away .

Gil let go with his red eyes bright and his sharp teeth grinning wide.

"Alright." He smirked.

Then he smacked Matthews booty before running away down the hall.

**************************

Many hours had passed. The ride was long and boring and Matthew had fallen asleep on Gilbert's shoulder. Even though the journey had been that way Gilbert stared out the window eager and afraid. He thought over hundreds of scenarios that may occur when he arrived and every one of them made him even more worried. He looked down at Matthew and smiled. He was really glad the younger male had joined him. He kissed his old friends forehead and felt more at ease. Until the horsemen called the horses to halt.

"Mattie." Gil said shaking the blondes shoulder.

Mattie's eyes opened slowly looking up to the snowy haired king.

"Are we there?" He asked yawning.

But Gilbert said nothing as
He looked up at the castle shivering. Matthew sat up straight and placed a soft hand on Gil's cheek. Gil turned to him and rested his pale face into Matthews warm hand.

"Are you nervous?" Mattie asked.

"Me? Nervous?!" Gilbert started to laugh. "I never break a nerve!"

Matthew smiled unbelievingly. He pulled Gilbert's face in kissing him very gently.

"You'll do just fine." He smiled.

"Of course I will!" Gilbert said keeping up appearance. "Let's go!"

Gilbert hopped out of the carriage and Matthew jumped out after him. Gilbert trotted to the big entrance with his shoulders back as if he were walking away from a victory.

"Your highness!" Matthew called out.

But Gil was already letting himself into the castle. He stood in the entrance and placed his hands on his hips.

"King Roma!" He summoned.

Matthew raced up behind the reckless king and put a hand on his shoulder.

"You should have knocked." He said.

Gilbert rolled his eyes and turned back around to see a young beautiful maiden running to the door.

"Your highness!" She said realizing who Gilbert was.

"Where's ol' Roma?" He asked.

She looked back up the stairs as if to check but then remembered.

"In his study. But please come in! I will fetch him at once!" She said before running off again.

Gilbert smirked and entered the hall. Matthew followed up behind him and looked around.

"She was cute." Matthew observed adjusting his glasses.

Gilbert's eyes flashed and turned around with a glare.

"She was to short." He grumbled.

Matthew looked up to Gilbert's moody eyes and smiled.

"You aren't jealous are you?" Matthew asked.

"I'm not jealous." Gilbert protested.

"Mm, you know I would never go after anyone but you." Matthew announced.

"I know! I'm to awesome for you to leave!"

"That.... And you were my first for a lot of things." Matthew blushed.

Gilbert's face became crimson and he looked down at the light pink face and huge violet eyes.

"Why did you have to say that." He whispered.

Matthew grinned as if he had won and Gilbert only blushed more.

"You better hope they don't leave us alone any longer because I plan to..." Gilbert's words were shortened when they heard a booming voice at the top of the stairs.

"Gilbert! I have been expecting you!" King Roma called.

"Romaaaa..... So, where is he?" Gilbert asked.

"Right to the point huh? Well come have dinner with me won't you? He has taken my cute little grand babies on a field trip!" He explained.

Matthew looked up at Gil but the king just shrugged.

"Sure."
