Chapter 5: Auras... Explanations... Clarifications

Auras, as previously indicated, can now be seen.

Somehow the "glitch" in the Alien whatchamacallit had intensified our human visual range. For some unknown reason, it took a few months for this phenomenon to become apparent. Now, however, people are able to see what all cats and most insects have been able to see all along, i.e. strong negative vibes/shades coming off the baser elements of humankind. It had nothing to do with race, religion, income bracket, ethnic background, political affiliation or blood type. It had everything to do with CHARACTER, kindness, humanity - and the lack thereof.

In the not too distant past, work had been done unmasking little known human energy systems, factors heretofore only guessed at by perceptive individuals. Certain types of photography had captured glimpses, even before the beginning of the 21st Century. Positive and negative electromagnetic fields had been studied as early as the 1980's, using sophisticated electronic equipment. Right and left rotating color bands were photographed around natural and synthetic nutrients. In the insect world, it was discovered that mosquitoes were guided to their human targets, even in the dark, by infra-red heat. Brain waves, heat signatures, electro-magnetic fields, chemical emanations, etc were all being discovered and studied.

Similar variations in what we call “vibes” may explain one person’s attraction, repulsion or indifference to another person of the same or opposite sex...

Thus helping to decide friendships, life long love/compatibility or simple short term physical infatuation.

The "glitch" did not, however, for the most part deal with love. On the contrary, it revealed hues of the negative emotions: the sickly colors of hate, of envy, of the self centered indifference to human life.

These were the shades of darkness...

The red-grays... The green-grays... The sallow yellow-grays and so forth…

And, the inevitable deviant behavior that accompanied these grim colors.

It took awhile for Citizens to understand what it all meant, but with negative Auras now exposed and the truly dangerous people thus revealed, the power balance between good and evil shifted.

As the saying goes in the boxing ring,

“You can run but you can not hide”... not anymore!

And that is what concerned Rabbi Gandolfini.

The Chinese hosts supervising the reception at The Dragon’s Lair were acting very odd. Their body language was sending out loud and clear danger signals. But they were not Goblers! They were not part of the new underworld that had terrorized the New City for the last 5 years.

What had changed?  

What was going on?
