Ch.8

Third Person POV

Jungkook walked to school quietly, his footsteps gently plotting against the concrete. Jimin suddenly came out of no where and pulled Jungkook aside. Jungkook's eyes widened at the sudden action.

They were now in a secluded area. Jungkook glared at Jimin but Jimin didn't glare back. "Calm down, Jungkook." Jimin said as he pushed his hair back with a sigh. "I need to ask you to do something for me." Jungkook scoffed at his words. "Why would I do anything for you?" Jungkook's fist tightened.

"Because it's not just for me, it's for Miyeon too." Jungkook still glared at him, unsure of what he meant and a bit skeptical. Why would he do anything for Miyeon when just yesterday he had no problem slamming her against the wall?

"Just listen to me." Jimin begged, Jungkook kept his guard up but nodded for him to continue.

"I want you to make Miyeon fall in love with someone other than me." Jimin said seriously. "I already am." Jungkook responded, Jimin was confused and he showed it all over his face. "You didn't know this but I've been in love with Miyeon since Junior high." Jimin's eyes widened in surprise and he was completely dumbfounded. Not only did he feel like shit for hurting Miyeon yesterday, but now he found out that he stole one of his friend's crush away.

"... I really didn't know..." He said in sudden realization of all the times Jungkook laid hints on both Miyeon and the rest of BTS.

"It doesn't really matter, but what I want to know is why you used Miyeon?" Jungkook asked with a slightly raised voice. Jimin looked down. "I was desperate okay... I'm sorry."

"What did you even use her for?" Jungkook asked, fist clentched tightly. Jimin sighed then put a hand on Jungkook's shoulder. "... I won't say..."

Jimin walked away leaving Jungkook with remaining questions. Jimin knew that he couldn't tell the truth just yet. He needed for Miyeon to fall in love with Jungkook first. He knew what type kid Jungkook was, if he found out why he did it... How he fell in love with her, and why he couldn't be with her... Jungkook would only pity him. He probably wouldn't want to go on with Miyeon since that's the type of kid he was.

Jimin knew that Miyeon deserved happiness and right now he saw himself as the only obstacle. He thought about it, Jungkook would be good for her. He did know more about her than he did, and Jungkook was strong. Not to mention really nice, he knew that Jungkook wouldn't hurt her.

Jungkook continued to school with a sour expression. He wanted answers but Jimin wouldn't give them to him. He wanted to know why he did this to Miyeon in detail... His expression brightened when he noticed a familiar figure walking in front of him... It was Miyeon.

He quickly ran up to her and greeted her by poking her side's with his fingers. She jumped at the sudden feeling and yelped. "Hey, Miyeon." Jungkook smiled, his chest pressed up against her back. He didn't realize himself how close her was until she turned around, her face was only a few centimeters from his. Jungkook froze, and so did Miyeon. Her heart was beating faster at the closeness. She looked at his lips... They looked so soft and pump.

Ah! What are you thinking?! Miyeon scolded herself and took a step back. Jungkook felt her warmth disappear... He was struck with slight disappointment.

Without thinking, Jungkook pulled Miyeon into his chest and held her close. Miyeon's face continued to redden, she was so close that she could hear Jungkook's heart beating. It was beating faster than hers was from the sudden gestures.

"You're really warm..." He whispered, she lightly pushed him off with the blush on her face quite obvious. He realized what he had just did and his face flushed also. He bit his lip.

Jungkook then noticed that Miyeon was staring behind him, he turned his head to see Jimin walking with his eyes on his phone.

Miyeon's heart seemed like it would never change. It confused Jungkook. How could she love Jimin after breaking her heart then slamming her against the wall? Why didn't she look at Jungkook with the same loving eyes.

Jungkook frowned then remembered Jimin's words.

I want you to make Miyeon fall in love with someone other than me.

He grabbed Miyeon's hand, causing her to turn her head to Jungkook in confusion. He pulled her into the alley next to them and hugged her again. "I love you." He whispered into her ear causing her to shiver. "Jungkook, what are you do-"

"I'll make you love me back... So you don't have to hurt anymore... So Jimin won't hurt you anymore."
