Third Person POV

Jimin stared to the kitchen floor with pain in his eyes as his dad was talking to him. "Tomorrow you are to meet the girl I have arranged for you to marry in the future." His deep voice rang in Jimin's ears. He didn't want to get married to a girl he didn't love, but he had no choice. He had to for the sake of his mom.

"Her name is Il Jihwa. This is a picture of her." His dad handed him a picture of a pretty girl. Jimin could only think about how much prettier Miyeon was. This girl was cute but she looked so fake with her face coated with makeup, Miyeon was more beautiful in his eyes with or without makeup.

"Why are you looking at that picture with that expression?" His dad raised his voice, Jimin glared at him. "Because I don't want to get married with her!" Jimin complained. "Well, too bad." His dad said before leaving the room and heading out the front door. "I'll be drinking with some colliges. I'll be home late." The door closed.

Jimin went to his room and closed the door before sitting on the side of his bed. He sighed and got out his phone, looking at the pictures in his gallery. It was still full of pictures of him and Miyeon... He smiled despite the pain in his heart. He loved her, he missed her... But what could he do? He still had her number and everything from he had from their relationship. She probably did too.

He went to his contacts and looked at hers. He wanted to hear her sweet voice again... To play with her soft hair like he used to, to hug her and soak in the warmth of her embrace. To steal kisses from her soft lips only to watch her get flustered.

All of this was getting to him. He was tired of not telling Miyeon his whole situation, she knew about him not having enough money for the treatment for his mom, but she didn't know the details. She didn't know that Jimin's dad hated her family, she didn't know that he left her because of his dad. His brain told him not to call, but at this moment he could only think about how he was going to meet the girl he was going to marry and it wouldn't be Miyeon. He wanted her to know how he felt and why he left before this happened... But... He was hesitant.

If he told her that he loved her, it would be harder for her to let go.

Without anymore thinking he pressed the call button. He couldn't believe what he had just did, he didn't know what he was going to say. He was still debating on whether or not he should tell her the truth and risk her not being able to get over him or continue on with this lie.

"J-Jimin?" Miyeon's voice sounded as she answered the phone in shock. He took a quick breath and hesitated once more. "Jimin? Are you there? Are you okay?" she asked, his heart started to beat faster at the sound of her familiar voice and he gulped. "M-Miyeon..." He started nervously.

"I-I.. I need to tell you something.." Jungkook's face flashed in his head. He had forgotten about his friend. The friend that had loved Miyeon longer than he did. He was a good guy, he was innocent and Jimin knew that Jungkook wouldn't hurt her, he'd protect her and love her with all of his heart. Jimin couldn't do that, he only hurt her. Her continuing to love him would bring pain to all of them. Jimin wouldn't be able to stand watching her suffer, to watch Jungkook suffer...

"What is it, Jimin?" She asked nervously, she never even thought that he'd ever call her again and it made her nervous. He took another deep breath.

"I want you to stop liking me. I'm already meeting another girl and I think you should move on, I hope we can be friends though..." He said to her, his voice slightly shook. She was silent. "I... I understand. I'll try my hardest.. to forget about our past." She said with pain in her voice. But what can she do? She knew she couldn't chase after him forever, she knew she should try harder to forget about him.

She hung up the phone without saying goodbye and just stared off into space.

Jimin's eyes watered as he realized that it was the end of his relationship with Miyeon. It was truly the end of it and there was no turning back.

"I love you..." He mumbled as he stared at his phone with tears falling off of his cheeks and onto his phone screen, he sniffled and took a deep breath. His eyes were now puffy and red, he tried to keep his sobs down. "I love you... I love you so much..." He mumbled and let out a loud sob.

"I love you Miyeon..." He cried the words he could never tell her again so loud that there was an echo. He laid on his bed and started to sob frantically.

"I love you... But... You shouldn't love me..." He took deep breaths, trying to calm himself down. He had never thought he'd ever cry over a girl. He was always the playboy type, so he never thought he'd fall for a girl this hard. He felt like it was karma for breaking all of his ex's hearts. Now it was his turn to suffer.

He curled up in a fetal position and tried to stop sobbing. He closed his eyes tightly and tried to clear his mind. But a voice in his head kept reminding him that the only girl that he has truly fell in love with will never be his.
