Third Person POV

"Its almost new years eve." Suga said to Jungkook who was sitting on his bed. They were at Suga's house hanging out. "Yeah. What about it?" Jungkook looked at Suga obliviously, he smirked. "Well, since Christmas passed and all of us were forced to be with our families... Why don't you do something with Miyeon for New year's?" Suga smiled at his own genius. Jungkook gulped, he and Miyeon alone... His heart beat faster at the thought of having her to himself for the first time in a long time.

"You're right!" Suga smiled at Jungkook's satisfaction and took a drink out of his water bottle. "Maybe I can invite her to stay over too!" Jungkook smiled, rembering all of the times they had sleep overs, Suga on the other hand started to choke on his drink. Jungkook panicked and started to pound on his back with his fist.

"Ow! Okay, I'm not choking anymore!" Suga raised his voice. He sighed then looked at the innocent kid. "Listen, you can't invite her to stay over!" Suga scolded, Jungkook tilted his head in confusion. His and her parents are always fine with it, why couldn't he?

"What do you mean?" He asked, still unsure about what he meant. "Dont you see? You may have done it before but you like her and she sees you as a man now." Jungkook was still completely oblivious and only stared at him with his head tilted and eyebrow cocked. Suga cleared his throat. He knew Jungkook was innocent with somethings but why couldn't he get where he was leading up to?

"I mean... A girl... And a guy... Alone. In a house... Over night? You know... No one else will be there since you're parents are gone on a business trip. So anything could happen" he emphasized on "anything" Jungkooks expression changed and his face became redder than a tomato. "Suga! We're too young for that!" Suga smirked. "You sure about that?"

Jungkook became extremely flustered and he could barely talk anymore. "T-That isn't my intention though!" He managed to stutter out. "She doesn't know that." Suga reminded. Jungkook thought about it. "Fine... I'll just invite her over till midnight then have my parent's driver take her home." Jungkook said, Suga nodded in satisfaction.

Meanwhile, Miyeon was a bit dumbfounded at her house. She was texting Jimin. He texted her! She knew he had said that he wanted them to be friends but she didn't think they would actually be friends since so many breakups have ended with the "let's be friends though" line and she knew that the exes almost never became friends.

"So want to hang out for New years eve? I was going to go to Jin's house with the others. Want to come with me?

-Jimin"

She was frozen, but she knew not to get her hopes up. He just wanted to be friends.

But in reality, Jimin just wanted to get his mind off of his future wife and turned to Miyeon. He knew he should let go but he wanted to at least spend the last day of the year with her. The girl he is supposed to marry turned out to be as annoying and superficial as she looked. He wanted one last day with Miyeon where he could accept that he loved her, then he'd let go for good.

"Um... I don't know. I have to think about it.

-Miyeon" She replied honestly. How could she get over him if he wanted to be friends right after he said for her to stop liking him?

She put down her phone and sighed. She wanted to go but she had to let go. Suddenly her phone rang, she answered without looking at the number.

"Hello?" She answered. On the other line was Jungkook, he bit his lip nervously then cleared his throat. "Um, Miyeon? I was wondering if I can ask you a question?" She immediately recognized Jungkook's voice and smiled. "You just did." She laughed, he chuckled. "Well I'm going to ask another one." He seemed to have gotten more comfortable with her after her little remark. It showed him that he had no reason to be nervous.
