Third Person POV

"Okay, Jungkook. You can do this!" Jungkook spoke enthusiastically as he fixed his hair in the bathroom mirror. He looked at himself in pure determination and nodded before leaving his house and taking a cab to Miyeon's house. He walked up to the gate and rung the door bell. "You can do this." He repeated as he got more anxious.

"Never mind! You can't do this! You're crazy!" He suddenly was hit by a wave of cowardness. He turned his back and just as he was going to leave, the gate opened. He turned around in fear and smiled at Miyeon who was standing there. As soon as she saw his face the thought of him kissing her just a few days ago popped into her mind, her face went red and she looked down to the ground to avoid his gaze.

Jungkook started to fiddle with his fingers. He might as well go with his plan now. He cleared his throat. "Let's... Go on a date." He barely managed to get the words out of his mouth, his mouth felt like it was full of cotton and his palms were sweaty. This wasn't at all like it played in his head. The original plan was that he'd show up and tell her. "We're going on a date." While looking so cool that she wouldn't reject him, he planned on winging it from then on but now that he thought about it, it all seemed a bit absurd.

Miyeon couldn't control her heart rate and shyly looked up at Jungkook. He was nervously biting his lip, she could tell that the innocent kid was as flustered as she was and smiled at his cuteness. "Um.. Okay." She agreed.

Jungkook looked up with a huge smile, he didn't think she'd actually say yes. He quickly grabbed her hand in the excitement and took her to the cab that had been waiting for them.

"Take us to the nearest bubble tea shop please!" Jungkook told the driver, still smiling as wide as before. Miyeon looked at his face and giggled, he was litterally like a puppy excited for a walk. She still felt a bit nervous being next to him but seeing his innocent reactions told her that everything would be okay. She knew what type of person Jungkook was and maybe going date with him him wouldn't be so bad...

They got to the shop that sold bubble tea. Jungkook walked up to order. "Two strawberry bubble teas." He said then sat down at a table with Miyeon. She smiled, he would know her favorite flavor... He knows almost everything about her. They got their drinks and started to talk.

"So... About new years..." Jungkook brought up the topic, he wanted to know about what she thought about the whole... Ordeal.

He looked at her face that suddenly turned red as soon as he said that sentence. He smiled and continued. "Did you have fun?" He teased, she squirmed in her seat with the thought of Jungkooks soft and gentle lips. "Haha, your so cute!" He said then placed his hand on hers. Her heart pounding, she wouldn't be surprised if he could hear it.

"One Banana and strawberry." A familiar voice said from behind. "Jimin! I don't like strawberry, it's gross!" A winey voice spoke after, both Jungkook and Miyeon turned their heads to see Jimin and a girl. "What do you want then?" Jimin looked like he was done with life.

Miyeon stared for a bit, her heart slightly hurt at the sight of Jimin and his new girlfriend, she was pretty.

She felt a sudden pressure on her hand, she turned to see Jungkook with a worried expression. His hand held hers tightly. "... Do you want to leave?" He asked. She looked at him in the eyes, only he would do this for her. He wasn't mad at her for still not being over her ex... She didn't want to ruin her date with Jungkook just because she can't get over him completely. And this date could help. It could help get her mind off of him, and Jungkook was an amazing person. She didn't want to spend anymore time thinking about Jimin. Right now she was with Jungkook and that's all the mattered.
