Just a reminder. Everything about this story is true. Nothing made up or exaggerated about it. Here it goes..

My brother Kyle and I always used to stay the night at my Nana's house. It was an old, dreary, cracked up building that was at least two-hundred years old. In the living room downstairs, there were two doors. The one on the right once you walk into the living room led to the bedroom. The door on the left opened up into the hallway. At the end of the hallway was the front door. Then, right where the door was, there was a set of stairs that lead to the second floor. At the top of the steps was a large door, in which lead to the attic. Then, if you turned to your left, there was another hallway. The door before the hallway lead to the big room upstairs and two other rooms that were connected to the large room. Once you entered the large room there were two little steps that stepped down into one other room, and then there were the other flight of stairs and a bathroom outside of that bedroom.

My older cousins, Travis and Chris lived there during the summer. So whenever we'd go over, we would stay up late, watch movies and tell scary stories.

One night, my dad decided he wanted to join in on the fun and tell us about the terrible things that had happened in that house, years ago. This is the story in his perspective:

"See, I grew up in this house. And so did my brothers and sisters. And your grandfather would tell me about this one man. His name was Charles McGullicuddy. He, his wife Lisa, and his twin daughters Sarah and Sally all
moved in after struggling with things back in Tennessee. They figured Maine was the perfect place to raise a family. Little did they know, the house was evil. After moving in, strange things started to happen. Chairs would move on their own, important objects would disappear and loud noises would echo from the hallways while they tried to sleep.

Charlie was an at-home scientist. He would go to a lab a couple times a week, get all the things he needed, and do his experiments up in the attic where he had made himself a little lab of his own. He would spend most of his time there and hardly came down for anything. Only to use the bathroom and get something to drink or eat.

Lisa and the girls always wondered what was so important that he would neglect his family like that, but they brushed it off and figured he was just a hard-working man, like always.

One day, Charlie went out of the house for a while, and Lisa was curious to see what was up in the attic that was so incredibly important to her husband. She opened the attic door and started to walk up the stairs. She noticed a god-awful smell, but figured it must have been the chemicals he had up here from all the experiments. When she reached the top of the steps, she realized it was too dark. But when she pulled the string to the light bulb hanging from the ceiling, what she saw was definitely not what she expected.

Signs from the devil. Pentagrams, the numbers 666 and different strange symbols were inscribed all over the walls. And when she looked at the table, she saw what was causing the horrible smell. It was a cat. It had been cut open and writings in it's blood were on the floor and ceiling.

All of a sudden a hand grabbed at her shoulder. She turned around to see her husband standing behind here with a look of distraught and anger. 'What the hell are you doing up here!' He yelled. She tried apologizing, but he didn't listen.

She asked him what was all over the walls and why there was a dead cat with it's blood everywhere. But he got so angry that he couldn't control himself, and picked up a knife on the table.

Lisa screamed and started to run towards the stairs, but Charlie
grabbed her. Before he knew it, his wife was on the ground, laying in her own pool of blood. He reached down to check her pulse, but she was dead. He picked her up and laid her down on the table. What he did next was too unbearable to even think about. But none the less, he took her down to the cellar, took some of the bricks out of the wall, and put his wife's body (or what was left of her) into the space, and covered it back up with the bricks.

Charlie awaited his children to get there, because he knew what he had to do. So, when Sarah and Sally got home from school, they asked where mommy was. He replied, 'In a better place now. And you both shall meet her there.'

Two bullets, two little girls. Dead. He took each girl to the attic, one by one, and tried shoving them in the floorboards. But they wouldn't fit. So he had to cut them up into pieces. He put the arms and legs in the walls, and sealed it up. He then took the heads and the two bodies and put them under the floorboards.

After a week and a half, one of Charlie's co-workers had realized
that he hadn't shown up in a week, and got suspicious. The cops went to his house to investigate, and found Charles' body hanging from the ceiling in the attic with a note attached to him that read, 'You will never find them.'

The bodies of his wife and two children were never found, and the case went cold. And some nights, when the house is quite, you can almost hear the little girls footsteps. Kind of like they're pacing back and forth, searching for their remains. And if you go down in the basement, some swear that they can hear scratching noises. Like fingernails on the stone walls."
