My sister

I was super excited for Sophomore year. Life has been good for a really long time and it hasn't been sense I was 7 and I didn't know any better than to be happy. My mom wasn't really a problem. Occasionally she'll say somethings, but I won't care. I guess though on the first day of school we get a group of Freshmen, (it's a new thing because we didn't have it last year) and show them around the school. If they need help with anything, we help.

When I got to school, which I can drive myself now, I ran right over to the office to get my list of freshmen then went straight to the gym where we sort everyone out...

Lexie's POV

I got out of my parents car as the wished me good luck on my first day of school. I was super exited because well 1 it was the first day of high school and 2 because I have a sister that I so can't wait to meet! Her name is Meredith Grey and I guess she's like my half-sister cause my daddy was married before.

When I got to the gym I was super excited to find out my sophomore tour guide! When I heard my name called I leaped up and walked over to this brownish/blackish haired girl who had a sullen look to her face. Like she wanted to eat me.

"Please, don't talk to me unless it's super important and when I'm talking to my friends you will wait until I'm done and will not pay attention to what we're talking about. Any questions?" I raised my hand,

"What's your name?"

"Cristina Yang, now let's go before the world ends, this is taking forever." She wasn't a very nice person. Some of my group whispered saying she was like the devil but I didn't say anything. All of the sudden this tall blonde girl shows up next to her. "I hate them." Cristina whispers to the blonde and she laughs.

"You don't hate them! I hate them. They're lifeless. Why do we have to do this again?" Cristina shrugged and then changed the subject.

"How's McDreamy? Oh and your mother. I heard her Alzheimer's has increased and she doesn't know who she is some days!"

"Well, you've heard a lot havnt you. Well to let you know I'm actually fine. I'd usually be breaking down right now but sense you also asked how Derek was well, he's being there for me and he's so amazing. Unlike Finn who left me." She rolled her eyes. They were walking so fast and talking to fast. It was fun to watch.

"Oh wow, I remember Finn! He was so sweet. Until he left you. That wasn't very nice. I'm glad Derek has stayed though. You and McDreamy are like a legend. True love!" I watched the blonde laugh and walk away. As she did this she waved her hand as if she was dissing Cristina. The blonde seemed very depressing. Like she had so many problems she couldn't count. Anyway, back to the task. I need to ask someone (who's nicer than Cristina) if they know who and where Meredith Grey is.

It was lunch and I sat down at a random table with random people. I looked over and saw the blonde chic and Cristina at a table that everyone seemed to be looking at. Were they the populars? One of my friends had a sophomore who was actually helpful to I decided to ask her for help.

"Are those the populars?"

"Yep. Well everyone talks about them. They aren't exactly the coolest people in the world. They're all unique." The helpful looking sophomore  answered.

"Do you know who Meredith Grey is?" I saw the girl begin to laugh. Why was this funny to her?

"She's one of the 'populars' actually, she's kind of the talk of the school at the moment. Supposedly, her mother almost killed her or something and they had to rush to the hospital where they found out she has Alzheimer's. I guess she's been living with her boyfriend and they ended up having to put her in a home." Oh wow. Poor girl! I need to know which one she is so maybe I can help her get by. I feel so bad. Her dad also left her for me. Poor, poor girl.

"Thank you so very much." I smiled at her when she began to walk away. I stopped her, "Which one is she exactly?" The sophomore pointed to a tall blonde girl at the head of the table who seemed to be laughing but at the same time not having fun at all. I decided to walk over there to ask to talk to her.

MER's POV

This tiny brunette freshmen began to walk over to our table. Probably wanting directions to he bathroom.

"Who's is this ones?" I asked. Everyone turned around to face the girl. Cristina raised her hand and got up to ask what was wrong. They were whispering for a bit when she asked me to come over.

"Hi Meredith!" I jumped a little on how perky and happy her voice was. Why was she so... enthusiastic?

"Hello?" I questioned. She laughed.

"Cristina can we talk for a bit?" Cristina rolled her eyes and sat back down at the table. I could hear Derek ask what that was all about and Cristina saying she didn't know. 

"So, you see, my name is Lexie and I don't really know how to say this. Um my last name is Grey and my father is Thatcher Grey. You see he remarried and he's a great daddy! I bet he was great to you too!" I watched her smile grow big and her posture looked a little more relieved.

"What?" I yelled. The cafeteria got quiet and I could see Derek begin to stand up.

"You are such a little liar! What do you want from me? What do you want from me!" I started screaming. I knew she wasn't lying, but I can't believe my father would do this. I never knew him, but I always assumed my mother was lying and just didn't like him. All of the sudden everything began to get dizzy and then black.
