"Sure," Annamarie's mother told her,"You have straight 'A's so you would do great. I want you to use your money as well for admission, and travel."

"Of course I will!," Annamarie assured,"I have been saving for two years very strictly. Thank you so much!" Annamarie ran up the stairs to me.

I'm Ciel. I am thirteen for eternity. Scars still hug the right side of my body.

She bursted into the room with excitement, her long black hair being pushed back quickly. She looked up to see me on the ceiling.

"Ciel guess what?"she exclaimed,"My mom is going to let me join the Junior Detective Program!"

I knew why she wanted to join that program, and exactly why she was so joyful about it. She wants to prove the existence of demons. Luckily I am not a demon. I'm a ghost. I wasn't insane or really mean and jerky when I was alive. I also don't possess people, nevermind to do bad things.

"That's great," I put out plainly, with my british accent.

"Why are you so plain. This is amazing because-," I stopped her mid sentence, because she had said the same thing multiple times.

"You'll 'get to exploit demons for their despicable deeds.'"

Her face froze, Her face looked funny, frozen.

"U-uh. Yeah." Her face gained expression. She kinda looked concerned. "Don't you think that they should be exploited?"

"If they are revealed then-." she stopped me mid sentence, as I had done earlier.

"'They may advance technology to find ghosts, and then ghosts would be killed.' I know I heared that multiple times. Ghosts don't have a reason to be discovered. If a ghost does something bad in a human body they will turn into a demon anyway. They will only need to kill demons."

"Some humans are deathly scared of ghosts. They would pay a lot of money for research to kill them."

"The correct word is 'dispel', and technology won't advance. Anyway you can't stop me. My mom is filling out the form now. I get to live on campus. Well, better start packing."

"Pack what," I claimed,"Your room?"

"Ha ha. Very funny Ciel." She gave me the face that she gives me whenever I am sarcastic. It's like being sarcastic, but with her face.

"I'm gonna go get your grandma," I put out," I'll tell her the great news." I gave the word "great" some sarcasm.

"No,"she demanded with a rushed voice," I want to."

"Yeah 'kay."

I flew through the wall so I could go get her deceased grandmother. She wasn't too far away. She was always at the cake shop. I heard her funeral had a lot of cake.

As I flew in the door the smell of bread, chocolate, and cake rushed towards my face.I saw her sitting at her usual table. A small, round, pink table.

"Hello Mrs. Ackerman," I greeted," How are you?"

"I am good thank you,." she replied with a sweet, average, grandmother voice.

"Annamarie wanted me to see if you wanted to come over."

"Oh of course," she replied sounding really happy that she was invited. She flew right over to me.

A minute later, we flew into Annamarie's room through the wall.

"Go on," I told her," Tell her, I waited for you."

As she runs up to hold her grandmother's hands she squealed,"Gram I am going to join the Junior Detective Program."

"That's great dear," she exclaimed passionately," I'm proud of you."

"Thanks Gram. Do you want to see mom? She is downstairs."

"Sure, thank you," she answered back, She flew out of the room.
