Ghosts and Demons

Chapter 6

"You are disgusting," I retorted.

"And you are a stalker, so I guess that we are even," he shot back.

"I don't stalk her," I defender,"I make sure she is safe from being possessed by a demon, such as yourself."

"Okay sure."

"Why did you choose Annamarie's mother?"

"We wanted to kill, and we knew that it would bug you, if we targeted her mother. We figured we could give Annamarie her last horah."

"John, why do you and James hate me?"

"We hate our family, not just you." He smirked.

"So an exorcist hasn't killed you yet?"

"I almost got killed by one."

"Well, I have to go. Plus your smell reeks."

"Okay, bye. Have fun."

I started home. I flew for a long time, not knowing what to make about it. I wasn't sure what to do. Eventually, after my flight back, that seemed to take forever, I was back with Annamarie.

"The demon was circling her head," I reeled off.

"So you couldn't possess anyone around?" she inquired.

"He could've beat me too it,"

"Dangit."

"How are you going to find the evidence?"

"I am not sure."

"Hey maybe we could scare him with John and James," I put in, jokingly.

"That wouldn't work, because he would think that it is special effects."

"Well how are you going to prove it? The tape could have special effects,"

"You prove a great point," she agreed, taking me literally.

"Wait you are serious?"

"Yeah. Why?"

"Nothing," I left out.

"Hey you said that they wanted to kill me, right?"

"Yeah." I gave her a look of great concern. She didn't care. "What are you planning on doing?"

"We could make them think that I had the evidence."

"How would this help you?"

"Ciel. Just trust me."

"O-Okay."

"I found one!" she cried.

"A what?"

"An exorcist! My plan is going to work."

"What kind of plan involves an exorcist?"

"My plan. Who needs evidence?" she laughed off.

"Annamarie are you okay?"

"Yes," she topped,"I feel great."

"Okay then."

"I'm going to head home."

She walked towards the bus stop, and caught it right on time. She was in her dorm twenty minutes later. It was around early dinner time as well, so she got food in the cafeteria. She came back, and got onto her phone immediately.
