We all woke up bright an early the next morning. Me and Daniel cleaned up as Fern got the dragons ready for the flight. "Where are you'll heading?" Christopher asked handing me a strap for the tent. "We are at the moment heading to the west islands, where some friends of ours are being held. Once we get packed up, Fern is gonna cast a spell and try to track them down." I answered. Christopher nodded. I handed Fern the last bag and allowed her to strap it onto the saddle of my dragon. "I'm gonna cast the spell." She said before walking to the edge of the island. I followed her, wanting to see how the spell is done. "reperies qui ob im exspectantes" Fern whispered. Her hands glowed a bright green as the spell was casted. She opened her eyes and they glowed the same color green, the spell was working. I waited for a moment before the lights vanished and Ferns body go lymph. I quickly ran to her side, catching her in my arms bridal style. "What happened!?" Daniel said running over to me. I looked at Fern, her eyes not opening and her breathing slowing. "The poisn did work." Someone laughed from behind us. I looked behind me to see Christopher leaning against a tree holding a small vial full of an odd looking liquid. "What did you do to her!?" I shouted at him with anger filling my body. "Oh nothing, just put some poisn in her food last night, I was wondering when it would work, I guess when she was using her magic, weakening her the poisn got into her system, killing her from the inside out." He snikered. I glared at him looking back to Fern to see blood streaming out her nose. "Why'd you do it, I thought you were our friend!?" Daniel asked pulling out his sword. "She is the nature goddess and I'm not very found of ones that rule more power than me. I really didn't want to hurt her, she's such a pretty little thing." Christopher explained. "The only........ problem you........ made, was allowing....... me.... to see...... the poison." Fern growled as she slowly moved in my arms. "What?" Christopher said as I helped her on her feet. "I should be dead, yes?" She asked, but already knew the answer. "The poison should have worked, no living creature can heal from it!" Christopher pointed out in disbelief. "id quod non solum regularis im dea elf intellegamus nisi venenum id , quod obest dimidium quod tibi (that's the thing im a goddess not just a regular elf so understand that the poison only hurts me half of what it does to you)" Fern said wiping the blood from her nose. She pushed away from me and stood back onto her own two feet. "Nunc proditio morietur" we both said, making his body engulf in flames and burn to ash.
