Aira's POV
Me and Daniel walked into the hospital room to see Fern sitting on a bed as the doctor wrapped her wounds. "Fern, are you okay?" I asked speed walking over to her. "I'm fine" she answered as the doctor finished up her leg wound. "What happened?" Daniel asked stepping up behind me. "I don't know, I walk into my room some hooded guy appears in the room laughing and all that then starts stabbing me with this dagger." She described as if it were nothing. "Wait a hooded figure, some hooded figure attacked me on my trip here earlier today." I said remembering what had happened. "Gary mentioned Melody talking of a hooded guy when she first got attacked." Daniel pointed out.
I looked to Fern to see her deep in thought. "What are you thinking?" I asked sitting next to her on the bed. "Our attacker has to be near one of us to hurt all of us. That means his Black Magic isn't as strong as I thought. That means he is weakened and not at his full power." She thought out loud.
I was about to say something when the doors opened and in walked Melody in the arms of her mother. "Melody! Are you okay!?" Me and Fern asked. Melody nodded slowly obviously still in shock of the attack. "Melody didn't get hit as bad as you two." Katy said as she sat on the bed across from us. "How is that?" Jesse asked.
"Some guy was using his magic to decrease my pain." Melody answered. "Wow, another guy with magic, saving my sister, I need to meet this guy." I said now interested in the subject. "We don't know who he is, or what he looks like. We were hoping that Fern can use her mind spell and find him." Gary finished looking over to Fern a little worried. "Of course" Fern smiled. "No way! You just got stabbed four times, your resting so no magic is aloud to be used for you." Jesse denied. "He's protective" I wispered into Ferns ear making her laugh. "Jesse, my magic my use, plus using it only slows down the healing. I can deal with the pain, its not like I'm gonna die." Fern waved off as she scooted closer to Melody.
She put her hands a couple of inches away from Melody's ears, palms facing her ear. She took a deep breath, closed her eyes and whispered "ostende mihi faciem tuam mentem". Green rays shot into Melody's ears and swirled in circles. After a few minutes Fern opened her eyes and pulled her hands away. "I know who the guys is and he's in the village. We must find him, we aren't the only ones wanting him." Fern said with a slightly tiered tone.
